Something I wish more Clinton supporters understood
She has lost the nomination. There is no point in giving her money or posting threads on why she is the better candidate.

and to support the candidate of their choice. And BTW, why do you care and why do you bother even posting this if it is "over" and Obama has "won"? What possible difference could it make to you? It seems like you must still see her as viable if you have to keep posting against her.

Edwards cheif supporter Elizabeth seems to be supporting the Clinton health plan and has taken pains to point out that Obama's plan is not "universal". And John has publicly said he will NOT support any candidate without a "universaL " HEALTH CARE PLAN.What does that tell you?mY GUESS IS no ENDORSEMENT FOR ANYBODY AND CERTAINLY NOT ASN ENDORSEMENT FOR oBAMA UNTIL jOHN CAN REMOVE THE KNIFE HE PUT IN HIS BACK! lol!

15. I wish you understood that Hillary supporters look desperate and pathetic....
...Really, you are bringing down the entire party by your actions.

I am 10)% behnd voting for the person you believe would make the best president, but when a candidate does not have a hope of winning the primary, to demand that she stay in, especially when she is so negative, lying and divisive, is simply destructive.

If Hillary doesn't win and you still think she is the best candidate, and you write in her name, I will be behind you 100%.

But the only thing her continuing on in the race now will do is destroy the party.

31. Yeah, it's "over" that neither candidate can hit the magic number.
If it's so "OVER" why does the Obama crowd have to post twenty to thirty frantic, nervous, scolding, complaining "ALL CAPS and TONS of eclamation points!!!!!!!" threads SAYING so?

It's like a desperate, fox-hole type of mantra--perhaps Ruby Slippers might help to make it happen, or something?

If it's such a done deal, why aren't you all out at Bennigan's celebrating and buying each other beers, slapping each other on the back?

Why are you here, trying to bully and demotivate (quite unsuccessfully, BTW, these repeated posts are having the exact OPPOSITE effect) Clinton supporters, who remain positive, optimistic, and ready for the next battle?

Yeah--it's over, all right. That "It's OVER" bullshit is all OVER this forum....but that doesn't make it true!

Clinton supporters remain upbeat and enthused. On to Indiana! On to victory!

We're not "over"--even if you want us to be!

If you prefer to sit in your recliner and bellow that it's over, please, you go right ahead!

No one is stopping you from contributing to these crying, desperate threads, or even starting a few yourself, but it doesn't mean it's true, either!

See you at the next contest, the great state of INDIANA, where Clinton will fight for every vote!

:hi:

47. Good Point...it's very odd that there are so many "Frantic" posts about Hillary destroying the Party
and the rest. I don't think she will win the nomination...but I sure don't have any desire to run around screaming she's destroying the party. The DLC is still (unfortunately) part of the party and they have every right to run and not win as Obama has to run and win or not.

It's either some kind of mass hysteria or some massive worrying going on. Most of all it's annoying seeing Democrats to ask other Candidates vying with them to "drop out" because it's hazardous to the party.

Must be "paid ops." Although why they think trying to convince posters here of their hysteria, is going to make Hillary drop out...is beyond me. Crazy Times.

21. Of course not. I always capatilize Our.
Our Democracy. Our Party. Our Nominee.

We, the People.

My point that you chose to ignore is, it is Obama's to lose. Not Hillary's to win. She presented her argument as to why she thought she'd be the better Nominee. And, she didn't win. And, now she cannot "win". Her ONLY chance is that Obama falls and falls hard. She is just holding the back-up spot.

25. Guess we are both choosing to ignore the point...
and this is why We are at a near stalemate. Obama has not "won" the nomination. Close, but he hasn't won. Hillary hasn't "lost" the nomination. Close, but she hasn't lost.

I want this to all work out and I know that it will. If she does indeed lose NC and Indiana, then Hillary should gracefully drop out of the race and fully support Obama. As well as all of her supporters. AND I would hope that if and when she does bow out, the Obama supporters act like adults and not cheer like a dragon was just slayed. I can almost see the posts now. Remember, the victors are going to be the ones who will have to do the healing.

As I have said on DU many, many times, I have been thoroughly turned off to Obama as a direct result of the Obama supporters here on DU. That is my reality.

And the victor will have to set the tone for the healing that will have to happen. Obama is not his supporters. I am sure many will say some very stupid and offensive things(and already have), but they really have no say in how Obama would govern.

You are right, it's close, but not over yet.

32. Oh joy, this is the tenth "gratuitous disparaging gender-based reference" of the day!
Not quite up to "rhetorical gang-bang" but certainly derisive. How long would it take, do you suppose, if the words "step and fetch" were contained in a post supporting your candidate, for a mod to swoop down and take care of business?

Why, I wonder, are racially offensive comments forbidden, but gender-based offensive ones fly under the radar?

I suppose we haven't come a very long way, have we now, "baby"....

I think your post made an important distinction, though I don't know if you did it intentionally or not. Obama may not have technically won yet, but she has lost the nomination. Public perception, support among delegates and really still momentum are in his favor.

I can't imagine how hard it would be to give up that dream, but I hope she graciously bows out sooner rather than later.
