Politco: Clinton Gains 10-12 Delegates, Obama Within 300 of Nomination, And Needs Under 100 S. D.s

Obama's delegate gains

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, on a conference call with reporters, says their count gives Clinton a margin of either 10 or 12 delegates out of Pennsylvania, and says his campaign has hit "an important milestone."

Obama is "less than 300 delegates away from securiting the nomination," he says, and "under 100 in terms of superdelegates."

1. What is a conservative projection to how many delegates he will net in NC?
Can we figure that out, and then figure out how many SD's he needs?

3. Don't forget Indiana
Some of the latest polls put him ahead there.

If she loses both in the same day, she's toast.

5. She's toast anyway...if she loses BOTH there is no way she can catch up..
..in fact, even if she squeaks out a win in IN she will STILL not be able to pull it off.

My bet, she quits on May 6th. The lions' share of the miniscule bump on suckers...sorry, "donors" that give her money between now and then will only be helping her pay down her massive $10.3 million debt...

8. Frankly, I only care about one number: 2024. If he reaches that number
then it is all over. No amount of spin can deny him the nomination if he has already achieved it.

2. I think he's also only 23 away from being ahead in SDs too.

6. I would say this is striking distance.
He can get 100 SD defections / commitments within a short period of time. I'm certain there are 100 that want to end this mess now.
