5. We're not.
McCain doesn't have to do a damned thing but pull up the chaise lounge by his pool in Phoenix and wait until November -- we'll do all the heavy lifting for him.

Flame away...I just really don't care anymore. I'm that disgusted.

7. Obama voters ONLY give 100 bucks and can give another 100 during GE. 2 million donors * 100 bucks =
...you get the picture

12. Neither candidate is strong enough to win...
They both have high negatives. The media told everyone that they were the front-runners and crafted this entire thing with two rock star candidates that do not have that much experience or proven track records compared to guys like Biden and Dodd. I think there's a good chance the Dems are screwed in the Presidential election, simply because there is a ton of closed-mindedness towards both Clinton and Obama.

14. I basically agree with you.
Neither of the two are actually great candidates.
As Bill Maher says, the media pushed these two "show ponies" on us.
Now we are screwed.
I'm not confident that either one of them can with the GE.

13. There's plenty more
where that came from. It isn't hard to raise big bucks through millions of small internet donations. At least for Democrats.

18. yes I know, but it will shorten the funds, hurt more and lengthen the general....
with tons of money, we should be able to win handily

16. Actually, I'm worried about the congressional races.
We're burning up so much money - in tight times, no less - that I'm very concerned about our ability to extend our leads in the House and Senate. We desperately need a few more seats in the latter.
