4. Wow, DU was around in 1960?
That's amazing!

We're like....so cutting edge!

We were on the Internets before there was an Internets.

7. It was a little more primitive back then.
To put people on your Ignore list, you had to cut the string between their tin can and yours.

11. But disrupting was really fun, too...
You straightened out a wire coat hangar, tied the ends together with a long piece of thread and draped it over the string between the tin cans. Then you tapped on the coat hangar and it sounded like Big Ben was on the line.

(Yes, children, we used to really do stuff like that..., I'll leave it to you to imagine our mental states while pursuing these past times.)

6. Uniting this snake pit would be a challenge to undertake...
right after uniting the Middle East, the Balkans and Cyprus.

And even then I'd give it long odds...

8. DU is extremely united. It's about 80/20 Obama. It doesn't get much united than that.

14. It never occurred to you that maybe Hillary supporters stopped posting in GD-P
because they were tired of the abuse and the 24-7 Cult of Obama mania?

No, of course not.

15. Even the most strident assholes on here will vote for the Dem nominee in November.
They will all get their heads out of their asses and do the right thing, I don't care what bullshit they're spouting right now.

btw, the freep types aren't too pleased w/ McCain.

Huckabee may reign in some of the values voters, but there's not much reason for them to show up. They're NOT united.

GD-P is not a significant nor representative sample of the Democratic party nor America. We are an aberration. Cute as the dickens but an aberration none the less.

22. DU is not the party
but the exit polls show concerning %'s that will not support the other candidate

what it is going to do is force them to run together, that isn't going to be pretty, or probable
