D-Day on the ground in PA -What to watch for today
I have a half an hour while my literature arrives.

Watch the turnout in Philadelphia and it surrounding counties Montco, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware. If they are huge big day for Obama.

Watch the turnout in Pittsburg and Lehigh County as well. Huge numbers are better for Obama.

When watching returns tonight remember to know where the returns are coming from. I expect the rural counties to be able to report numbers faster than the cities.

The overall turnout is projected to be 2.5 million. Don't buy that expect at least 3 million probably more to be at the polls today.

One last thing which is a little bit of humor. The Hillary folks in town planned their party for tonight before we did. They unknowingly booked their party at a bar/restraunt that is owned by an Obama pledged delegate. Business is Business but I find that to be hillarious.

2. Its a private party not funded by the campaign
They have a Hillary Clinton Lehigh Valley organization that is independent of the Senator.

I assume they had to leave a deposit.

3. If it's three million, then that means that the voters are going to turn out huge in the central
region of PA, which means a possible double-digit Clinton victory.

7. Not many Obama parties here in Copenhagen
And given that the polling ends at around 2-3-4 in the morning here, I guess it would be hard to get one started. :)

11. I would not expect his reach to be that far. :)
If they close 8 pm PA time, that would be 02:00 am here in Copenhagen, Denmark. :)

5. If those counties come out
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 05:45 AM by Jake3463
It will be a double digit win.

However I expect there to be a huge turnout from Philly. There are 750,000 registered democrats. 800,000 with new registrations.

I think this may be close
