2. I live in FL and I can tell you that it is next to impossible for a Dem to win and if

McCain chooses Crist (WHO IS AN ETERNAL ASSHOLE), it will be a landslide here in Nov.

The mindless drones in this state amazingly follow anything the republican's throw at them. Just last week, Crist rejected a plan to raise the cigarette tax. Why is this important well the State of Florida is in financial trouble.

No dem is winning this state point blank period.

3. I beg to differ. Republicans are getting fed up also.

A close friend of mine is running for the State Senate in a heavily Republican district. She qualified by petition, meaning she had to get thousands of signatures from registered voters to get on the ballot.

The normal strategy would be taking a voter file, and hitting mainly Democratic or Independent houses. She decided to hit them all, and she's talked to thousands of Republicans over the last several months, and that they're leaning heavily towards Obama in November. And my firend leans toward Clinton.

11. Actually Bill Clinton won FL in 1996. That said, highly unlikely that Crist be will be McCain's

running mate. I think, as a moderate he will pick a more conversative running mate in order to blance the ticket. The large jewish population will probably stay with the Dem nominee. What's more problamatic is the Hispanics who have turned more and more Dem recently, have a big problem with Obama's comments on Chaves and even possibly sitting down with Cuba. As far as whites, there are always big pockets in FL that will never vote Dem however the economy and getting worse here, so they may just vote Dem because of their pocket boo. We'll have wait & see.

But if the DNC continues to ignore FL, FL will be lost for sure!!!!

Our best chance to pick up states are in the west: New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, maybe Montana and also in the farm belt with Iowa and maybe North Dakota and potentially a couple of southern states like Virginia and North Carolina. Plus Ohio and Missouri.

I know exactly one person that's voting McCain. I have a couple fundie-esque colleagues, and they're both all about Obama. The economy here is in trouble, and I think minds are changing what with our R Pres, R Gov and R Congress here.
