Poll question: Will anyone not vote for a Kerry/Gephardt ticket?
There has been lots of talk about whether people would not vote for a Kerry/Clark ticket or not vote for a Kerry/Edwards ticket, but I have not see anyone do a poll on this combination. It is a realistic possibility.

1. I might be too busy to vote...
Since I'll be moving to Canada when Bush wins.

3. The poll should be answered by voters who count
and that isn't us.

The voters who count are the swing voters mostly made up from independent, former Democrats, and Repbulican women.

I have been around a long time and my initial feeling about a Kerry/Gephardt ticket is not positive. This is not to say that Dick Gephardt is not a good and loyal Democrat, it is to say that there is a major lack of appeal to the swing voter.

10. My thoughts exactly!
Excepting I'll be moving to England.
I already have friends who are moving there because they suspect a Bush victory.
How sad is this? This country is driving away a good OB/GYN and his intelligent criminal attorney wife because of it's selection of Bush. Man o man o man.

4. Kerry / Gephardt is a looser
I will still vote for Kerry but if he picks Gephardt it is going to be a tougher fight. He needs some one without a record in congress. They are going to Beat Kerry up enough on his record and having someone else running around on the defensive about his/her history in congress is going to be a distraction. The dems need to be on the offensive contiuesly from now until November or we lose it's that simple and we don't have time to be justifying Richard Gephardts long history of "Liberalism" as the Goopers will keep reminding us. We need to be talking about the future not the past and Gephardt is the past. A good past but we can't waste resources defending a man, we need to be projecting a future that does not include BUSHIT!

5. I'd have to think twice about voting Kerry/Gephardt
Edwards and Clark I can handle. With Gephardt I'd spend my time helping elect local Democrats. I'm not going to spend my time supporting a ticket of war supporters, especially when one of them was so enthusiastic about his support for the war in Iraq.

7. I would do my part and vote.
I couldn't vote for him if he picks a Repuke or a 'near Repuke', like Sam Nunn. I'm not interested in any form of bi-partisanship. They have to cross the aisle not us.

11. As NSMA said, "I'll vote for Kerry and your dog's crusty ass".
That made it onto my 'Top 10 funniest things I've ever seen written at DU' list. :P
