5. Edwards was our best choice. I like Obama and I have hope that
he can turn this country back on track. Hillary can't win the nomination, so why in the hell don't she drop out? Her negativity is working against the entire democratic party, and that really sickens me. If we can't win after 8 years of BUSH, I'll have to blame Hillary for her splitting the party!

6. I think he was saying what he thought people in SF would agree with...
SF is a tad more hip than that. He ended up not only not understanding small towns in PA, but urban politicos in SF, a true two-fer

7. I'm now cheering on Obama but what a mess.
We are going to have a hard time winning the GE. A very hard time. It makes me miss John's voice in this campaign more than ever.

8. Of course O will win such a poll anywhere on the "netroots"
What people here fail to realize is the "netroots" is out of touch with the mainstream. The blogosphere is a place where Jeremiah Wright is far more popular than Hillary Clinton...

10. kick
This gaffe du jour is a tempest in a teapot IMO. We all know, as Democrats, that Obama is right...whether we are saying so right now or not.

14. Kuch to Edwards supporter...
now more anti-Clinton/McCain than pro-Obama.

I think there was a lot of truth in what he said, but then again I am a liberal San Franciscan -- and you know what elitist trash we are. :P

16. I think people are making a big deal out of not much.
Edited on Tue Apr-15-08 01:07 PM by Blue_In_AK
And if the media wasn't hammering on this day in and day out, it would have blown right over. People are stupid to let the media tell them what to be outraged about. Also, what gives Hillary and John McCain the right to call anyone elitist? They're both millionaires and have been in a bubble for years. I find their "concern" highly hypocritical.
