1. Wow that Penn is powerful. Using special jedi mind-control tricks to get Barack to say all that,
just two weeks or so before the Pennsylvanian primaries. In San Francisco, no less! Is there nothing that can be done to stop this kind of evil mesmeric political hitjob on Obama? Is there no legal recourse? Can't Penn be prosecuted for anything? There oughta be a law!

8. I (and many other people) maybe be angry. We may be irate, enraged, aroused, upset,

disheartened or disconcerted. But NO-ONE describes THEMSELVES as "bitter" or describes anyone else as "bitter" without intending and implying some kind of insult, dismissal or put-down.

Clearly, Mark Penn (or someone like him) FORCED Barack to say what he did in San Francisco. What real Presidential candidate who wasn't born yesterday would make that kind of statement of his own free will? Who would really get up there and consciously tell people that small-town/rural/working-class folk "cling" to guns and to God. AND to racism. AND to anti-immigrant sentiments. AND to "ANTI-TRADE?"

Any politician who's ever been through any real campaign would never say that kind of stuff, especially someone like Obama who already has Wright issues and Michelle issues. PENN MADE HIM SAY IT!!!!

9. The main thing I know about San Fran (and I think the main thing most people today know about it)
is that it is THE MOST EXPENSIVE CITY in the country to live in, bar none. New York is a relative bargain. I know what you're getting at (I think.) It's true, the Repubs have LONG talked about "San Francisco Democrats" as a gay-baiting technique. Times have changed however. For me (and I think most people) when we hear "San Francisco" our immediate reaction is "rich people" NOT "gay people."

10. here's the actual list of the most expensive US cities.
1. New York, NY
2. Boston, MA
3. Juneau, AK
4. Anchorage, AK
5. San Diego, CA
6. Philadelphia, PA
7. Los Angeles, CA
8. Fairbanks, AK
9. Ann Arbor, MI
10. Seattle, WA

so now I have blown the "most expensive" argument, tell me again, why do you hate San Fran?

13. No, for most people, when you say San Francisco, the first word they think of is "gay".
Every city is expensive to live in, but "Crisco Frisco" will always be special to them in that way. And it will continue to be so until people's attitudes towards gay people improve.

Why? Because sex is "sexier" than money issues. Money is just numbers, but average Joes have a sick, prurient interest in other people's sex lives -- especially if they involve so-called "perversions", because that gives them a chance to feel superior to somebody for once in their miserable lives.
