44. Funny Story About Messiah College...

I used to live not far from there. I'm guessing the majority of those kids are very conservative by the way.

Anyway, there's a pretty good sized pond in front of the school, right along Route 15. A friend of mine had an aquarium that he had on great big long-finned goldfish in. He decided he wanted to get rid it and put a bunch of tropical fish in the tank, but his wife wouldn't let him just "get rid" of it. So, they decided to let it go free in Messiah's pond. They took it there in a bucket and poured the water and fish in at the shore. He told me his wife was singing "Born Free" as they watched it start to swim away. He told me it wasn't too long before a big 'ole just kind of swam slowly over and ate it in one gulp and turned around and slowly swam back out of sight. He said his wife was still singing when the bass got it and she just froze in shock mid-word. He told me later (when she wasn't around) that it kind of sickened him when it happened but the look on his wife's face was one of the funniest things he'd seen in his life.
