Wow, I just found out that I am a multi-millionaire latte drinker with an Ivy League education!
Listen up everyone because this is amazing. Just yesterday I thought that I was just another working class person with an income under 30K a year, but today I found out that that is not the case at all.

I am actually an elitist multi-millionaire who went to an Ivy League school. I sure don't remember what the halls of Harvard looked like, but I am sure that is just because I was just too drunk on the $1,200 dollar a bottle premium red wine must I must have been drinking every day while I was there.

But I must have gotten an Ivy League education, because the pundits who are supporting Hillary and McCain told me that Obama supporters are elitists. Of course pundits are just ordinary Americans struggling to get by on the meager salaries offered to powerful Washington power brokers and national television personalities, so they clearly must understand what ordinary citizens are facing.

But I can't understand what it is like, because I just found out that this little home that I pay $600 a month to live in is actually a mansion in a gated community! I may not see the gates, but the pundits tell me they are there and pundits are never wrong!

Wow, I am so excited to find out that I am a wealthy elitist that I think I am going to go slam down a latte to celebrate. I never realized it before, but lattes are my favorite drink. I thought I had only tried a latte once when I decided to spend three dollars to try out a new flavor, but Hillary supporters are telling me that I drink lattes all the time so I figure they must just taste so good that I don't even notice them go down.

Damn it feels good to be rich! Who else is celebrating their new found elitism today?

1. I must be rich also!
I mean, I'm unemployed, barely getting by, but they say I'm wealthy and an elitist, just like you!

3. I know, isn't it wonderful?! The difference between Obama and Chinton is
that he gives us credit for some intelligence, she really, really, really thinks we're stupid.

4. I think I'm still having trouble accepting my elitism
I just feel like someone who is renting a one bedroom 650 sq foot apartment w/o money to buy a house. Now the latte part is easier to accept....

7. I am waking up to the same reality......
I am still driving the 1980 Toyota truck to work I bought during the Clinton, NAFTA era, to a new job that pays about half of what I made before. You see I lost a job to NAFTA and now struggle along with the rest of this "elite class" to survive the rising cost of everything from health care to food prices, not to mention the price of gasoline! I haven't drank a latte in years and I don't have a volvo either. I must of lost my Harvard degree or something, or is it, I just lost the country I used to know. So call me bitter, because it is the absolute TRUTH!

Time to wake up America.

GO OBAMA!

10. Wow, I guess I can just write off my mortgage, and quit trying to figure out
how we can afford developmental therapy for my son. Insurance said it wasn't covered, and he really needs it... I guess I can just start writing out $750/mo checks for it and not worry now. I also don't have to worry about all the co-pays for his other weekly therapy visits (PT/OT/ST). WOOHOOO!

14. I discovered I am elite.
My ability to solve the New York Times crossword puzzle has my restaurant co-workers agog. I must have gone to Harvard because even with their state school education they get stuck after 3 clues.

When at the thrift store,I only buy designer clothes. I only go to a particular coffee boutique (run by some quaint local hippie elitists)for my 'double-shot-shot-in-the-dark-room-for-cream'. When I buy 10 of them, they give me the special elite freebie.

Everybody wants to be as elite as me. Not everyone can be so elite on a mere $1300 a month, but I humbly manage. I could do it on more money, but personally, I think that is just excessive, sloppy, and frankly gauche. Anyone can be elite with $109 mil. I have raised elitism to an art form and consider all these nouveau elites who throw their mney around to be mere wanna-bes.

15. I've been told I'm the cause of people losing their jobs.
Well, at least one person on DU, whose mental status I will call into question because I don't even know him, much less work with him or anything I had the power to get his job eliminated.
