Tip for Obama supporters if Obama becomes the nominee...
Edited on Sun Apr-13-08 07:40 AM by Lirwin2
Throwing around the term "you're racist" is MUCH less effective in the general than in the primary.

Two posts and Bots can't get this yet...you are right, or you're right...the Repukes won't cower in fear everytime the Bots throw the race card down when one criticizes BO.

Throwing around the term your sexist and banging pots and pans at Rush and Hannity is going to be about as effective as the race card.

9. And the point the OP is trying to make? Let's not consider it.
Obama supporters are more interested in bashing DU posters when they make a valid point instead of considering the OP's point. Because, after all, no Obama supporter has ever made a grammar mistake. :sarcasm: OP, you're right, "you're racist" will not fly in the GE.

10. Really
Because I just made a post that had nothing to do with Senator Clinton and started off with the words Obama needs to further explain his comments and a Hillbot jumped in and said something nasty.

At least we don't protest progressive television host because they didn't endorse our candidate.

13. We'll see how much influence this "blunder" has in PA.
We're still over a week away, it will be forgotten by then. And we'll probably have new "misspeaks" from Hillary to drive the media feeding frenzy.

15. Consider this....
If the Big O keeps making blunders, and can't seal the deal on the first ballot, don't assume that Hillary will be nominated. Perhaps a dark horse will emerge to take the nomination. My fave is Jim Webb. Great statesman. Would be an excellent nominee and POTUS.

18. Best choice...
...would be Webb, since he is more electable and would be a better POTUS than either Gore or Edwards.

21. I don't see why. We already have two moderates running.
Why would another one bother anybody who is already happy with either one?
