I am so sorry I ever gave that woman my vote in MA, it ain't even funny

As a former Hillary supporter, I am DISGUSTED with this woman and her campaign. I voted on Super Tuesday when she thought she had it all locked up, and had yet to start her rapid downturn.

I have talked to THREE other voters who told me they felt the same way (they volunteered it, I didn't say anything about my change of support)...

I am so glad to read Gore & Carter are set to step in and throw her out of this race.

Do you think it was that MA voters just hadn't gotten a good look at him? That combined with reservations about race?

That's what I'm guessing at this point.

46. Many Mass. Democrats are Reagan Democrats
But more than that, it shows how endorsements in general don't really mean shit. I know that I don't make my choice based on who has endorsed whom -- and I don't know anyone who does.

I think the endorsements have more clout at the party level, where superdelegates will decide who to line up behind.

63. Actually, Hillary had all the local endorsements WAY EARLY, and
that matters in terms of a ground operation. I think Kerry & Kennedy and all the publicity it garnered Obama helped shave off Hillary's enormous lead going into the Mass. primary, however.

As to Mass., the Clintons used to vacation in Martha's Vineyard, and were loved for it at the time by Mass. Dems.

7. That's why they have super delegates
The superdelegates can step in when someone who's gotten a lot of early votes all of a sudden loses appeal with the voters. A lot can happen between the New Hampshire primary and the convention.

12. I know..I voted for her in 2000
for Senator, met her in 2001 and shook her hand before I took her picture..then the IWR happened in 2002 and a lot of us in New York felt betrayed by Senator Clinton and it went down hill from there.

The important thing, imo, is that you realize it now and that we can learn from our experiences. Your sig line says you're willing to acknowledge that.

I hope Gore and Carter can find an earlier resolution so our  can concentrate on winning the Presidency and we begin turning this thing around.

but I doubt that even they can deal with the egos involved when it comes to the Clintons. They are obviously in their own little bubble and they are willing to say anything, do anything, whatever it takes, no matter how low to win this. And you have to wonder why it is they want this so desperately?

Gore fought up to the Supreme Court. For a month he fought in every possible venue. And sorry, Hamas was democratically elected by the Palestinian people. Talking to them may not do any good, but it won't do any harm. We need to talk to our enemies even more than we need to talk to our friends.

It was like "Whhhaaaatttt? We aren't the nominee yet?!"

I have great hope for North Carolina to let her know what real military families think about her story "ducking sniper fire".

I know, I know, it's another state that doesn't count.

But, I think it is interesting that Obama is being asked to lock up the nomination WITHOUT Florida and Michigan!

That is almost an impossibility, but it can be done.

45. I rationalized being able to support Hillary a long time ago by
by thinking that her IWR vote was just a tactical move and since she was in New York it might have been hard for her to vote against it. Then, thank God, Obama came along and I realized that I didn't HAVE to vote for a person who didn't have the guts to be against the war.

One of the biggest reasons I backed Obama since the summer of 2007 was my son. He and the guys he graduated with from Colorado College were strong Obama supporters from the start. Some of them even have paid positions with the campaign and travel all around the country opening local campaign offices. They're all great guys. Some are rich. Some are poor. They all played lacrosse together and were in the same fraternity - the one with the highest GPA on campus. They studied hard, played hard and, of course, partied hard when it wouldn't hurt their academics or their team. They everything you want your kids to be when they become adults, and now their energies are devoted to electing a president they can be proud of.

Talk about a powerful message.

48. You have company according to this article today
Fortunately for these women, their vote hasn't happened yet:

LEVITTOWN, Pa. — Like many women over 50, Paula Houwen was eager to vote for Hillary Clinton for president.

“I was impressed when she was first lady. She wasn’t the country’s trophy wife,” the 56-year-old suburban Philadelphia pharmacist recalled.

Today, though, Houwen’s no longer a Clinton fan.

“I do not like the way Hillary Clinton has run her campaign,” she said.

Clinton’s strongest core of support — white women — is beginning to erode in Pennsylvania, the site of the critical April 22 Democratic presidential primary, and a loss here could effectively end her White House run.
