McCain and Hillary claiming Obama an "elitist"
---

Considering McCain's beer money and Hillary's $100 million...that is rich.

How stupid do they think we are?

1. Obama's worked as a community organizer in the south side of Chicago. Don't get more elitist
than that.

:sarcasm:

2. I think that it's actually a non-sequitur
How do you get from clinging to guns and religion and anti-immigrant policies to being an elitist?

McCain and Clinton know that this is a preconception that already exists so this label will stick and they're using it.

4. OP, do you like telling things that are not true????
Am just curious because will you show me a link where Hillary called Obama an elitist? I can show you where McCain said that but I can't find one where Hillary said that.

9. She didn't say elitist, she said that he looks down on them
"Pennsylvanians don't need a president who looks down on them,"

Same thing.

10. Here:
“It’s being reported that my opponent said that the people of Pennsylvania who faced hard times are bitter. Well, that’s not my experience,” Mrs. Clinton told an audience at Drexel University. “Pennsylvanians don’t need a president who looks down on them, they need a president who stands up for them, who fights for them, who works hard for your futures, your jobs, your families.”

7. No, they know it worked against Kerry, so they figure they can use it

with the same success here.

And they figure to use it so when their wealth is called into play they can say "sour grapes".

McCain has 8 houses, is married to an heiress with a family fortune that isn't concerned with depletion, it will easily survive any depression that faces this nation.

Hillary has her millions part of which were made by Bill when he was supporting the trade measures she purportedly opposes.

3. It's the old Rove tactic of attacking a person's strengths
Of course, Obama's not elitist. He's the furthest thing from it... especially considering
those who are trying to paint him with that brush... McCain and Clinton.
And it's a pretty hamfisted brush, prone to major blowback. As we are seeing.
What losers.

5.  Clinton is really starting to make me sick

I mean I'd expect what Obama said to be spun and used against him.

It's just if I was running second and everything seemed to show that the guy in first was gonna win, I wouldn't be working in tandem with the Republican nominee to take him down.

I mean it's one thing that her tactics have ruined her chances but why do in the dem nominee.

To me Clinton is no better than a Zell or a Lieberman now. Pathetic.

Clinton should become Mc Cains Running mate.

11. His wife is heir(sp) to a brewery or beer company
And what I heard was she is worth over 100 million dollars, it could be more, but, that's all the media has come up with so far.
