We're Mad as Hell Protest at MSNBO today - With Pics

Wish I could have made it. Here is the report from http://www.HillaryClintonForum.net

We had about 150 people there. Some got there at 6:30a.m.

Women, men, people of all color. People drove from Philly. Woman took the night bus down
from Boston. People from Texas, some foreigners, the NC contingent and two lovely African
Americans who made the trip in from Connecticut. Eyedoc, front and center. Les33 with the
Bullhorn!!! Freethinker and Murray were interviewed by O'Reilly's producer. The papers were
there taking lots of pics. Hillary speaks for me was there interviewing as well.

Everyone was so thrilled to be there and so enthusiastic. Yelled all during the Today show.
Lots of police to keep us away and then they wouldn't let us use the bullhorn b/c Today show
was still going on. Funny how they moved their stuff way down to the other end and kept the
Singers on well past the TV time. Trying to shut us up I think.

I'm curious, did you run out of fingers and toes? Your appendages should have at least got you to 20, but you never know. Clearly there are not 150 people in the picture, but if you count the visible pieces of people you should see around 19. Then there are a few floating signs that don't belong to any of those pieces and plenty of people hidden in the mob. Then there is the camera man who is taking the picture and a few people who seem to be in conversation with people behind the camera man (he's in a mob). While they did not get any aerial photographs it is reasonable to believe that around a hundred people could have been there. By the way, when did peacefully assembling to protest become humorous?

Let the smack talking begin: NBC ran a special one hour Countdown with Keith Olbermann and it pulled Quarterlife style numbers (3.37 million) and did even worse in the demo with a 0.5/2. I’d blame that on the basketball overrun except that a rerun of King of the Hill on Fox did about three times as well as KO in the demo. Even a rerun of America’s Next Top Model on the CW had a better 18-49 result than Olbermann. We know from our regular coverage that almost all of Olbermann’s (and O’Reilly’s too) viewers are over the age of 55 on cable, and it would seem NBC was doing their own little Katie Couric experiment to see if it could capture the youth using Keith Olbermann. The verdict is in: nope.
