Obama gets snippy with Bayh about Clinton endorsement. Bayh punches back.
In an exclusive satellite interview Wednesday, Senator Bayh talked about his involvement with Senator Clinton's campaign.

"We've got two good candidates running, and between the two, I kind of side with the one who's got the in-depth experience and the seasoning," Senator Bayh told Newschannel 15's Matt McCutcheon.

As for whether Bayh will be the nation's Vice President:

"I know she's someone who trusts my opinion and my judgment and advice, but what official role, if any, that will be up to her, and ultimately up to the people," said Senator Bayh.

Barack Obama, meanwhile, thinks Bayh may have made a mistake.

"I think that Senator Bayh, frankly, stepped out a little too soon in terms of endorsements, back at a time when Senator Clinton was up 20 points in the national polls and was the presumptive favorite," said Obama.

Newschannel 15 asked how Bayh responds to that. "Well, I like Barack Obama. I think he's a good person, and I did decide to support Senator Clinton early, but it was because I've known her for 20 years. That kind of familiarity gave me a great confidence that she had what it took to make the kind of tough decisions and changes that we need," said Bayh.

St. Barry isn't the nice boy they claim. Bayh, like all Barack's supporters has the right to back who he wants and it is classless, in this instance for Barry to mock an old friend of the candidate.

and that's an understatement, though I try not to be too picky in State's like Indianna. Still, that was a pretty good come back to Obama that he gave there, and Obama kind of asked for it by taking a shot at Bayh's reason for endorsing Clinton.

16. Bayh should endorse whoever he likes, but Obama's words were not snippy.
How on earth do you get snippy from "I think that Senator Bayh, frankly, stepped out a little too soon in terms of endorsements, back at a time when Senator Clinton was up 20 points in the national polls and was the presumptive favorite."?

Stepped out a little too soon is not snippy. Snippy is more like "Well then, Mister Shitdon'tstink, look who's wearing the big balls now!"

or "You can kiss these coat tails good-Bayh."

or "You'll need a bit more seasoning for all the crow you'll be eating, Mr I'm-too-chickenshit-to-run."

or "Spoken like a true son of a Birch."

I could go on....

36. Interesting assessment...
"I think that Senator Bayh, frankly, stepped out a little too soon in terms of endorsements, back at a time when Senator Clinton was up 20 points in the national polls and was the presumptive favorite," said Obama. = "gets snippy" about an endorsement of the opposition. Alright... I suppose a candidate saying they think someone endorsed their opposition a bit early in the process could be interpreted as "snippy" even though that seemed to be a fairly calm evaluation of the situation to me.

How would you characterize it if he had... say... called him Judas? Just hypothetically, out of curiosity.

He stated his opinion. There's no snippy. Someone is delusional.

82. Mister Empty Suit Evan Bayh and his silly TV ad for Hillary
in which his entire basis for supporting her is that he has "known her for twenty years."

Evan is everything his great father was not. I can't imagine how such great people like Birch Bayh, among the first of US Senators to oppose the Vietnam War, and his wonderful wife, the late Marvella Bayh, could have given birth to such a pathetic example of humanity.
