2. Bush go Bye bye

W will not be running, neither will Cheney or the rest. Trying to make this a third Bush term is dangerous. Get focused on stopping an initial McCain term. McCain has plenty of negatives.

3. Polls have jumped the shark. Just look how reliable theyve been in the recent past.
Just about as reliable as weathermen or economists.
100 different polls, 100 different 'expert' analyses, of course some of them are bound to be close.

4. I keep telling people these national polls don't reflect much yet, BUT how in the hell
...is McCain winning? I don't get it. 70% of Americans now say the war as a mistake according to NPR this morning. 81% say the country is on the wrong track, the highest number ever since the Right Direction / Wrong Track poll question was invented, reported on CNN/MSNBC. The economy is in recession..... McCain is out of touch on ALL of these issues, doesn't have full-throated support of conservatives in his party and he is ten billion years old - HOW IN THE HELL IS THIS HAPPENING?
