This 1/3 is Dedicated to Dennis Kucinich.
Edited on Wed Apr-09-08 09:27 AM by Bonobo
He was the only one that really got it. I tried to write more, but nothing more needs to be said really.

*His one minute speech, given in opposition to the Occupation of Iraq just now on CSPAN, reminded me of this.

3. Dennis in the race
Made it worth while. He was the only one I agreed with about much of anything, and he and Gravel were the only ones who agree with me that I am an equal human being with equal rights.

4. I really wish he had been able to stay in the race for President
I would very gladly do to both Obama and Clinton what they persist in doing to GLBT voters for just one chance to vote for Kucinich (alas, he dropped out just before the Washington caucuses.)

5. ANYONE but Obama!
-if only Dennis stood a chance, he'd be our candidate.

But as things stand, I'm either voting Hillary into the oval office, OR I WILL WRITE IN DENNIS' ON THE BALLOT due to all the mean-spirited Obama , meanies here.

Anyone who's going to vote for Hillary because of all the "meanies" didn't get Kucinich to begin with.

You're a funny Grandma.

10. Really???
Dennis was my first choice. I moved on to John. Then I moved on to Hillary. Then changed my mind and went to Barack. I don't hate any of them. I think you'd better not be so all-encompassing in your statements. Hillary, though, is really giving me pause nowadays. (I thought she was very good in the Senate yesterday, though.)

Wanna take a crack at guessing why he might not have chosen the DLC candiate? It's not hard, I promise!

I had expected him to send them to Edwards... cause they had the same deal last time around.

But Kucinich knew more about Obama than I did at that point... :)

28. it has been o's colleagues that have pushed him all along.
his colleagues in the illinois general assembly are really the ones who made it possible for him to run for the senate. one of the state reps, julie hamos, tell the story about twisting arms of her wealthier constituents to get him started. and she doesn't get on all that well with her really wealthier ones. (heavy r-$$ parts of her district.) but she put her rep on the line for him. others did, too. they were out stumping for him like crazy. those people are still with him, too. riding the bus and knocking on doors for him.

I'm sure Dennis wouldn't approve and he directed that his delegates and backers support Obama.

And that's why we gotta get active to re-animate Conyers' bill and ram it into Pres. Obama.

Let's bend him to our will on that one issue, at least.

Dude just flat-out gets it!

If only we weren't as shallow a media culture as we are, he'd be in it right now.

But we can push Barack in that direction when he's in the w.h.

And I've been donating to Dennis in his home state

Go Dennis!

26. I voted for you in the Wisconsin primaries of 2004, 2008.
I continue to share your core values, policies for our nation that need to be done now as well as policies for achieving goals of the future-and your patriotism.

I respect your unwavering opposition to the global corporatist RW wherever it is found, and loyalty to our Constitution and the rule of law.

Thank you for introducing impeachment proceedings against Richard Bruce Cheney.

We have need of a Department of Peace, it will absorb the Department of Homeland Security.

I hope that you are part of President Obama's cabinet.

Bob
