Democrats; A Day To Be Proud Of BOTH Of Our Candidates
Both senators Clinton and Obama today showed they understand what the dynamics on the ground are today in Iraq. Neither one of OUR candidates need to have an ideologue like Joe Lieberman whispering in their ears about WHO THE FUCK WE'RE FIGHTING AND WHY.

6. almost like the old days here at DU
when we all knew what side we were on-the DEMOCRATIC side. I will be happy to cast my vote for either Obama or Clinton over McCain in November.

23. what I liked about Obama's line of questioning VOP
is the sense that he knew what the fuck he was talking about-unlike McCain-who continually conflates his enemies for obvious political posturing-just like his buddy boy LIEberman.

It's a real talent.

5. Some may not believe this
(like those who have me on ignore for UNITY'S sake) but I am proud of both of our candidates every day. The democratic party is like the Kansas Jayhawks, great starters and a bench that won't quit.

11. it's getting near that time BOSSHOG
that we all AS DEMMOCRATS come together and support WHOEVER wins the nomination. I will fight for either senator Obama or Clinton-I am a DEMOCRAT first and foremost. I don't want to read one more post by supporters of EITHER campaign saying they won't vote for the other if it's not their first choice

I wish DU would get back to the place I have been a member of since early 2001 (different name-before a computer crash I think is what happened). This site has been a constant source of information and access for this democrat. I wish every single member here would pledge to vote FOR the democratic nominee and move past the bad feelings and in-fighting of the past 5 months

34. Likewise
:) I think this thread, along with your other one, reminds us who the real opposition is. It isn't Clinton. It isn't Obama. It is the rethugs. A lot of the unpleasantness could be removed if folks recognized that on the issues Clinton and Obama are the same. The caricaturing of "the other" as a DINO is inaccurate and a source of a lot of the emotions on both sides. If you notice, my criticism of Obama isn't about his policies but revolves around his electability, along with some criticism of his tactics. A President Obama would not be a disaster, nor would a President Clinton. A President McSame would be!

I so agree...we do have two good candidates...so much better than McCain...which is why it infuriates me with some of the bullshit that goes on in GDP.
