10. I've been sick of Code Pink for a loooong time
I think a lot of their antics are not helpful.

Plus Sheehan meeting with Chavez and threatening to run against Pelosi didn't win me over.

Has anybody ever actually looked at what Sheehan really believes? She sounds waaaay more like Ron Paul than you'd ever imagine.

She met with Chavez? What's your point, other than Bush, Rush, and the rest of the right-wing bigots don't like him?

Go back under your bridge. Or at least point me to a post of yours where you actually say something *positive* about any democrat. I dare you.

45. Couldn't you have just tried to prove I slandered her?
My point is that you said I slandered her, and nothing I said was untrue. You had a chance to support your outlandish claim and instead, you're claiming Chavez is just getting a bad rap. That's called changing the subject.

And just to be clear, Cindy Sheehan is not a Democrat.

http://www.counterpunch.org/sheehan05282007.html

I'm sorry my posts don't measure up to some sort of positivity level that you have set for me. If it makes you feel any better, there are a lot of Democrats that I like.

My favorites: Russ Feingold, Brian Schweitzer, Jon Tester, Bill Richardson, John Edwards, Barbara Boxer, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. I like Obama for President, but he was not my first choice.

Darcy Burner, Al Franken, and Ned Lamont are my favorite currently unelected Democrats.

So, go ahead and try to paint me as some sort of troll, but disliking Cindy Sheehan doesn't require me to turn in my party membership and start listening to reich-wing radio. And I'm not the only one that thinks this way.

33. I'll never forget that idiot from Code Pink making a scene while Valerie Plame was testifying.
What was all over the news and the late night shows afterwards? Plame's cogent and compelling testimony? Nope. The goofball in a tiara mugging for the camera was all anyone cared about.

War is a serious matter. People who protest against it should keep that in mind if they want to be taken seriously. I've stopped attending the ones in my area because I got so tired of the sideshow.

36. Petraeus actually showed respect for Obama's focus.
As a military man, he should ... since any military commander MUST understand that a MISSION includes a measurable OBJECTIVE. An "end point." The conditions that would meet ANY definable objective have never yet been stated.

It's a "mission" without a strategic objective ... death for NOTHING but more DEATH.

37. Boxer for VP? I love that idea!
After 8 years of a creepy, controlling old guy in the VP spot, I think a strong-willed, honest, and decent woman would be a hell of a lot better than simply getting another old guy. And yes, I realize there are plenty of old guy Democrats that are decent and honest people, but Boxer would be even better and would be a great contrast to the past 8 years.

39. Hillary supporters would get behind a ticket with BB, right?
She could still be a history-maker in '16 after 8 years of Veeping. Within 8 years, two presidential glass ceilings broken, and constitution restored...

42. That is a GREAT IDEA!!!
Think about it people! You think Boxer is going to take any crap from republicans? After 8 years of dealing with their crap she can run and easily beat their candidate (After they rejected Ron Paul it is extremely hard to see how they can get a viable candidate) Then we can have democrats in office well into the 2020s!!
