7. These divisions are not as vast

as they sometimes appear on these pages. I am convinced regardless of who wins the nom (my money is on Obama, as are my hopes) we will resolve them, come together, and kick Rethuglican ass.

We really must. The country cannot endure another four years of Republican rule. Regardless of the outcome, we are going to have to marshall behind the nominee, for the alternatives are clearly unbearable. And if we allow our petty divisions to yield to McCain his long sought victory, then we will have failed our duty to our nation, our families, our friends, and even our honorable opponents.

We simply have to win this.

But I have to disagree with adoring "all Obama supporters." There are some who don't deserve anything but contempt. Sorry to piss on your parade, but it's true. So if the idea of "unity" means they continue to spew hate all over HRC supporters, and we're just supposed to like it and ask for more, don't hold your breath.
