Clinton campaign chair photographed holding Obama signs
Paper: Clinton campaign chair photographed holding Obama signs
RAW STORY
Published: Monday April 7, 2008

Terry McAuliffe, former chairman of the Democratic National Committee and now-chairman of Senator Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, has been mysteriously caught in three photographs smiling and holding an Obama for president sign with supporters in Washington state -- according to a blog at the Chicago Tribune.

The Clinton campaign has not contested their authenticity. An email sent to Clinton's spokesman Monday was not returned. McAuliffe is said to be generous in posing for photographs.

The photos were acquired by the Chicago Tribune's Swamp blog.

"What's really interesting, as you can see from these photos, is that McAuliffe posed with supporters of Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign and that a beaming McAuliffe helped them hold up their large Obama signs for the camera," Swamp author Frank James wrote Monday morning. "McAuliffe is wearing his Clinton button but it's dwarfed by the Obama sign he's holding.

And seemed to be enjoying himself in each one.

12. He probably was being nice
He seems like a friendly guy, I don't think it's a big deal. Only a complete asshole would have a meltdown and make a person, who was excited to take picture with him, put down a sign. I don't know, I guess we'll find out soon enough if they are absolutely authentic, he'll have to answer it at some point. But this has been posted over and over and over.

It is kind of funny though, lol. :) He looks so happy in them. :)

17. A lot of DU posters could take this to heart
Supporting one candidate does not mean that the other, or their supporters are your enemy. We're all aiming to reach hte same place, even if the particular roads we take might vary somewhat. Terry McAuliffe apparently understands that, even while working for Clinton, he can express support for Obvama, as well.

Both good candidates, both fully Democratic, both possibly excellent presidential choices.
