Black Vote In North Carolina

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hillary Clinton can recapture some of the Black vote that Obama stole from her South Carolina. As the vetting process continues and this Obama fever dies down I think she can double and triple her African American base. She has been excellent on economics and policy of late. A 6 point plan to this particular voting block can be had. Obama assumes he is entitled to the African American vote, but I am beginning to hear rumblings about him. He has offered nothing to working class community or the black community for that matter.

If she continues what she did in Memphis I think she can start to tip away at him. Keep watching..

hillary has done so much more for the blacks then obama will ever do

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

why cant they see that? what's the deal with everyone being brainwashed but us? i hate the media

No way, AA are just voting based on skin color, status is same. My observation is based on talking with lot of AA. They have excuse for BHO on everything
Here is some wisdom from AA
Muslim-******* - We are secular, his choice of religion is not a big issue
Black Union - It will make white people angry, it is a very good strategy
Memphis - This was brilliant, McCain and Hillary looked fake, even Obama was not thier his spirit was and he got maximum coverage, who gives rat to poverty czar.
Clinton Harlem - It was shrewd Clinton, they wanted to run for election.
Africa & New Orleans - They just want to show off before election that they care about black people.
BHO contribution to black community - When he will be President, you will know, he will be president for us.
Rev. Wright - He gave speech what else you want to hear.
Wright anti-American rant - Have you checked anti-war demonstartion they are worst. Majority of white people scream against America.

So they have excuse. Black will vote for BHO.

But as a Southerner who grew up in the Lester Maddox years, I know that this demographic exists. They're dying - and not soon enough - but they're not extinct yet.

But yes, most of them are trolls. Even some of the rednecks I grew up with have better spelling and grammar skills than some of the idiots I see peeing all over this board.

50. I should point out
that people like this exist across the country. If my perception is that they're endemic to the South, I think that's only because that's where I come from. Dixie had no monopoly on the mindset, but the Dixiecrats were a special (in-)breed, sadly, and an ugly one.

Another bigoted post.

I thought Hillary looked so genuine! didn't you thin k what she said was touching?

also, what happened with the poverty czar? I didn't understand that point.

For AA, BHO is higher then any MLK or Malcom. He is new God.
Regarding poverty czar, they have to disgree with anything comes out of any BHO rival. They don't care about issue. You just can't change them.
I think Hillary should consolidate White votes.
My concern, in future every election , Oprah will sponsor black candidate and all election will be like this, voting based on race.

29. Another One.
Maybe we should have a concerted effort to ask ole Oprah herself.

Doesn't she think it is suspicious that 80-90 % AA are going for Obama, when he is barely Black....hit her with the facts.....Obama's ancestry were those that were selling the slaves....present his ARAB ancestry. What has he done for the AA community, outside of Chicago ? (Kenya ONLY....where he holds dual citizenship; due to his ancestry.)

I know I'm just wishing.....If I only had a few minutes with that phony woman....

I do think the media has created a little disrespect for Oprah, as she was promoting her "African" school..... Has anyone noticed the local Oprah Giveaways ?
I noticed it here in the Portland media....

And, while I'm at it, what's up with CNN ? Not only the continous coverage, throughout the weekend, about MLK murder; but, then the advertising of Black In America....in JULY ? I don't remember them advertising 3 months in advance, of their other special resports.
I'm as much of an admirer of MLK and all he stood for.....but, is this a subconscious attempt at directing the race factor/ guilty-white voter ?

Maybe I'm wrong, but many of our AA friends have said that Obama doesn't represent the AA experience and they are tired of him trying to exploit them.
I wish we could make that message a little louder.

"why cant they see that? what's the deal with everyone being brainwashed but us?"

At what point does one begin to consider the possibility that the entire rest of the world isn't nuts? Maybe... JUST MAYBE... some of the things people say about her are actually true. How many people do you have to call traitors before you consider the possibility that perhaps YOU might be wrong, not all of them. PERHAPS they just are seeing things a bit more clearly than you are right now.

45. This reminds me of a neat movie by Bill Cosby on Prejudice
I showed it to my high school students way back in the 70s. Cosby starts ranting about every racial/ethnic group and says why he hates them. At the end, he winds up saying he hates everyone, except himself, and he is suspicious of himself. Point was that prejudice makes you isolated, lonely, alone....

Everyone brainwashed except us somehow reminds me of that.

35. This one is hillarious!
I think we have to be careful when we discuss the African American support for BO. Of course they are going to support the "black" candidate, just like women are flocking to Hillary. The only group that has been represented in the highest office in the land is white male. I suspect that people are going to be disappointed in BO should he succeed because I believe his devotion is to self. Hillary, on the other hand, will represent all of us. We can only hope that the veneer rubs off BO so that people can see the man behind the mask, and that thinking people will realize that Hillary is the candidate who has everyone's best interests at heart.

57. OMG!
When your "identity politic" force you to move your values and perspecitives to the RIGHT as well as readily adopt tactics of the smarmy one (ROVE), then it's time to take a few steps back and reflect.

No, now that I'm only a few months away from my 50th birthday, I sadly see women my age and older who take "identity politics" way TOO PERSONAL.

As much as I would LOVE to see a woman President, that person is not HRC. In fact, I'm much to the opposite side of this prejudice, in that, I don't want my teen daughter to emulate HRC's path. I often have to reflect and force my logic in order to thoughtfully understand (not despise her) due to, perhaps - her overbearing and mean-spirited father who may have been instrumental in HRC's traits of ego-centrism, secrecy and deceit. That's not "the stuff" of what makes GREAT LEADERS.
