p.s. Ellen, the Democratic nomination process is not an election where every person in the country gets to vote. It's a specific party's candidate selection process and is conducted according to the pre-defined party rules, so don't equate it to the general election. If it's supposed to be about the votes then you had a good opportunity there, when Sen. Clinton was nodding her head to your uninformed comment, to get Sen. Clinton to commit to abiding by the elected pledged delegate winner. (You might have also asked the Senator exactly what she meant in earlier statements by the race being over by Feb 5th.)

Instead of criticizing Obama for his bowling performance -- unless she knew she could bowl in the 200s -- she should have just said, "Well, I can't criticize him for that. You don't want to see how badly I bowl. But it's his XXX plan I'm worried about."

That starts off with a little class for not criticizing him, then turns self-deprecatory (always good), and redirects the conversation to the issues, where she can score a point on something important, turning the whole thing to her advantage.

That's what someone with "experience" would do -- instead of mocking him for bowling. If she had done that, she would have impressed the heck out of me.

Instead, she made herself look like a jerk for criticizing him for something totally trivial and unimportant -- and now opens her up to ridicule for her lack of bowling skills. Instead of scoring a point, she lost 10 points. That has been what has been so disappointing about her campaign.
