He can deal with slurs better and it more vetted.

If the Wright stuff had come out in the Autumn it would be a lot worse.

It's forced him to get specific on issues like the economy.

On the other hand, Mccain getting a boost from it.

1. Not really
The pubs will be playing serious hardball in the fall. Sen Obama hasn't seen anything yet. There is nothing more dangerous than a cornered animal and the pubs see catastrophe in November and will be running the ugliest campaign ever.

2. I used to not think so.

But I think I do now.

If Obama is even with Big Mac now, while he's taking fire from 2 sides, imagine how he'll do when he has the entire apparatus of the democratic party behind him 100%.

Better this wright shit come out now than november. Plus, by going to all these states, he meets more people and builds a much more solid and dedicated donor base for funds in the GE.

That said, this NEEDS to not go to the convention. That would be catostrophic.

7. It is better to knock down this and any other thing..
Edited on Mon Apr-07-08 02:21 PM by butterfly77
we see on the horizon..There are enough Obama supporters to knock this down. If people talk to other people and get them to see how and what they are doing with our help they won't get away with what they have been doing for years. I do believe that he can he is chipping away at their talking points every day and they can't stand it..They are nit picking about little nothings but they said nothing while the criminal liars have been trying to destroy us all..

which will help in in the GE...you see these peoples faces meeting this guy for the first time and it is like Love at first sight......and the Wright thing came out quite possibly the best time (no primary in sight) and he handled it masterfully....

9. Yes.
If nothing else, it gives him the mantle of a candidate who fought and won. If it had just been easy, or "handed to him" (or her, or anybody else), there isn't that aura. There also isn't the same attention and publicity!
