"The day he was inaugurated there were several of us who met with him at the governor's mansion," says Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission. "And among the things he said to us was, 'I believe that God wants me to be president.'"

Apparently there was an issue with Bush's breath while he prayed...

You know, it's the little details that make all the difference.

7. Very interesting program -

although to me it's more a documentary on Bush's perfection of a con job than it is a documentary of his faith. He has faith in Poppy and his position as a Bush. He has faith in his power to take what he wants and steal the rest, bugger anybody who doesn't like it.

Why should we hear about body bags and deaths and how many, what day it's going to happen? It's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?
