NO. It's unthinkable. End of discussion.

12. Her entire campaign is one big mistake after another
If there were any principles guiding her candidacy these things would not be happening, but because she is guided only by ambition her campaign shifts with the wind. This was a ridiculous choice. She had no business exploiting this anniverary for her campaign.

It was a stupid idea to be there (and a really tacky display of "we love black people more" in light of Obama's ancestry),
but I'm mainly worried about what she and McBush were up to.

5. We don't need another 8 years of THIS.
I've been to Dealey Plaza. It's small and like that motel, just a place -- unless you have a memory and a conscience.

It's hard to imagine being at either place and forgetting how much we lost there. Who would you have to be to do that?

The group I was with fell silent, completely silent, until we got back into our cars.

If she were in the acting business, she'd be out of work. However she's in the business of politics, and we do not want to see her acting. We want a little truth, a little sincerity. And it has not been forthcoming.

I'd say she was pandering for going there period.

However the fact she is smiling, laughing and waving to the press is disgusting.

The anniversary of MLK's murder is a somber time and the location a dark tragic place, not a place or time for frivolity.

What's next.... she going to go dance a little jig on Kennedy's eternal flame?

29. This one:

QUOTE
RUSSERT: In terms of accountability, Senator Obama, Senator Clinton on Sunday told me that the Obama campaign had been pushing this storyline. And, true enough, your press secretary in South Carolina -- four pages of alleged comments made by the Clinton people about the issue of race.
In hindsight, do you regret pushing this story?

OBAMA: Well, not only in hindsight, but going forward. I think that, as Hillary said, our supporters, our staff get overzealous. They start saying things that I would not say. And it is my responsibility to make sure that we’re setting a clear tone in our campaign, and I take that responsibility very seriously, which is why I spoke yesterday and sent a message in case people were not clear that what we want to do is make sure that we focus on the issues.

Now, there are going to be significant issues that we debate, and some serious differences that we have. OBAMA: And I’m sure those will be on display today.

and for LAUGHING AND SMILING FOR THE PRESS on the fucking site and anniversary of MLK's murder.

There was no honoring MLK by Hillary.... just exploitation.

If Obama had gone there and laughed and smiled from the spot where King was murdered... his supporters would be giving him major shit for it. i know i would be.

But you see one of the reasons I like Obama is that he has the humanity barometer that tells him something like that would be crass and inappropriate. Hillary seems to have lost all touch with what is reasonable and acceptable behavior.

For god's sake Hillary... call Bill and ask him how to look somber, because apparently you missed that day in acting school.

The only way this could be worse is if she grabbed her chest and jokingly acted as if she'd been shot.

Did she not notice she's the ONLY one smiling and laughing?

It is bad enough she even went there... but to be smiling and laughing.

82. Bingo
She was in a solemn place on a solemn occasion. It doesn't matter what the crowd or the photographers do, she is the one who needs to set the tone. This is what bothers me -- her lack of, as you say, functioning political antennae.

It's like when we jumped all over Bush for saying "devaluation" when he meant "deflation" and sending the Japanese stock market into a tizzy. When you are president -- or running for president -- a million eyes are on you. You need to be extremely careful of every word and gesture.

If her 38 years of "experience" haven't taught her that, it is worrisome.

I remember back in the early '80s, I was friends with the guy who started the Boston AIDS Action Committee. I noticed that when he appeared in public or had his picture taken for the paper, he never smiled. I mentioned it to him. He said he did it on purpose, because he wanted to send the message of how serious the problem was -- and that there was nothing to smile about. He didn't want people to think that he was enjoying the situation.

71. TOTALLY UNFAIR.
She has a tendency to smile and wave when under threat of sniper fire.

73. We need someone to photoshop her doing that
at the fence where Matthew Shephard was hung, or the gates of Auschwitz. Then maybe they'll see.

People are still blind to human, emotional reality when it comes to black people and black history.
