McCain eliminating middle man, Already shifting from Candidate straight to Legal Defendant
He really is going after running as a Bush third term right down to illegalities and all.

He is literally giving up on raising money to run for president to asking for contributors to donate not to his campaign but HIS LEAGAL DEFENSE FUND, because he has already broken the law.

McCain returns campaign $3m in checks... in letters to contributors, (McCain) is asking supporters to write new checks to a special fund created to help the Arizona senator pay legal and accounting expenses related to compliance with the public funding system.

He's already broken finance limits for public financing, but is now planning on opting in to public financing (which he can't any longer) in hopes of locking the Democratic candidate in a fundraising box.

John McCain has already lost. Hes already a criminal just like the rest of the Bush Regime, time for regime change in the fall.

1. It appears that he's having some trouble raising funds.
He wouldn't opt for public financing if he had money in his pocket. Is the compliance fund limited? I'm suspicious that McCain might find a way to raid those funds for campaign expenses.

3. Hes already overspent the limits of public financing, thats why he is in need of a legal fund

He s going to try to fight it and get a second shot at it, but he wont get it, which means hes already out of money before he starts.

That is the only reason Romney is on the table, because he can self fund their campaign.

5. This is good news. It reduces the myth that Obama can't beat McCain.
McCain already looks like he will be tied up in court battles for months. He will be spending time and money in the court system while Obama is going state to state to Appear at events for the democrats running for Congress.

This is good news because it keeps McCain from assisting the republicans running for congress as much.

8. Indeed as Congress is extremely important.
Facing Democratic majorities in both parts of congress and a democratic president.. Republicans will stop at nothing to filibuster measures to repeal the crappy laws passed under Bush and daddy Bush.

It is extremely important that democrats get filibuster proof majorities in congress! In this fashion the republicans will have to focus their efforts on the supreme court which the power of the people will urge them not to listen to their crap.

Yet the process is not going to be easy. People like Al Franken are behind in the polls in their fight to gain a seat. And there are many contests. We need to not have to wait to the convention for Obama to be the nominee going around to assist these important contests.

10. An obstructionist vocal minority can be more destructive than apathy and failure combined
Youve hit the nail on the head, filibuster levels MUST be over come or it will be no different than what we have today.

Romney is the VP, hes the only one who could self fund.

But again what switch do you mean he's setting up.
