I say 'schwing?' voters who are telling me 'I don't like Bush but I want to vote FOR someone.'

Clearly, the Republicans are coming at Kerry hard and fast with the 'Hanoi John' crap to knock him off his message and unfortunately it appears to be working.

1. huh?
Someone asking you for positions is legit. It has nothing to do with the Hanoi crap.

2. Right, what I meant was that the cheap shots are helping to keep
uninformed voters uninformed about Kerry.

Besides his website, any good summaries of Kerry's policies etc.?

3. What is your objection to using Kerry's website for information?
That is the proper place to reference for Kerry's policy positions. Accept no substitute.

4. This might offend you
But how about your head??? If you don't know Kerry's policies backwards and forwards, you should. That's how we'll win, every person on the street talking to people with the facts readily available, from their head.

The Kerry site has every speech he's given, press releases, the d-bunker, the blog from last August to the present, the forum, as well as policy positions. You should be ready to go toe-to-toe with anyone after all of that.

5. Well, to tell you the truth, I found his website as windy as he is.

"John Kerry believes in a strong America." Oh, please. Next we'll be hearing it's morning in America.

I thought somebody knew of a good one page summary, but excuse me for asking.

Damn, you people are prickly. Remember, I AM ON YOUR SIDE.

******

My new talking point (note the singular) is that Kerry believes what Americans believe, and W. doesn't.

Americans want protection for the environment. So does Kerry. Bush wants to drill for oil in the Arctic National Wilderness Refuge.

Americans want more international cooperation to fight terrorism. So does Kerry. Bush told the UN we don't need a permission slip to invade Iraq.

Americans number one spending priority is education. So is Kerry's. Bush's is cutting taxes.

American number two spending priority is social security. So is Kerry's. Bush wants to 'privatize' it.

Most Americans think the PATRIOT Act went to far. So does Kerry. Bush of course was the one who passed it. . . .

That seems like the most straightforward way to get the message out to me.
