Fired Up Ready To Go!!!!!!
Edited on Sat Apr-05-08 06:42 AM by SunsetDreams
Hey everyone!!

Get ready to vote in the upcoming primaries for Obama, or if you choose, vote for Clinton.

Even though countless newspapers, media, democrats have called on Hillary to quit.....Obama says she can stay in as long as she wants too.

Thanks to Obama, you will still have a primary, even though you would have had one regardless if Hillary quit or not! Go Figure!

The Primaries go on even when we have a nominee! States exercise their right to vote regardless of the outcome :)

He's such a Democrat, how dare him be a gentleman to his opponent?

Good luck to Sen. Obama and Sen. Clinton!

1. Barack Obama
is bringing a dignity and class to the presidential election that will eclipse John McCain when the two face each other. I think that was evident yesterday: McCain was attempting to apologize for past behavior, without understanding the implications for his current support for violence in the Middle East; Barack Obama channels the higher understanding that King represented, which can take root in our society today and insure a better tomorrow.

he will wipe the floor with McCain. I am glad the democrats finally have someone to put forth like this, who can take a punch and keep going. He doesn't have to get dirty to make people look like fools, he just speaks the truth.

Just like:

"I've got news for John McCain, Alqaeda wasn't in Iraq, until George Bush and John McCain decided to Invade Iraq". That was funny, because it was in response to John McCains' stupid attack on Barack, McCain fell in a foolish trap with that one.

3. Did you happen to see the reporter who asked McCain how after voting against
establishing the MLK holiday he had changed his mind about it? McCain looked as though he knew next to nothing about MLK's life and work and its impact on the history of this country. It was sad because I would have thought that he would have been prepared to answer the question given the fact that people were very aware of his voting record. He seemed to be trying to make the case that because he had been in the military and didn't see any signs of racial discrimination there, that he was unaware of the problem. There's a video and transcript over on the video forum.

4. I have heard Obama referred to as
our first "post partisan" politician. I think this really nails one of his greatest strengths. He is able to make people rise above labels and move towards the ideal of what we could be. He makes hope seems realistic....
