Obama's General Election Electoral Votes Based On The Latest Polls (He Wins The Presidency)
Edited on Thu Apr-03-08 11:48 PM by malik flavors
State (Obama's position in latest poll Vs. McCain)

Wash (+5)
Oregon (+6)
California (+9)
Conn. (+17)
Del. (+9)
D.C. (No Polls)
Hawaii (+30)
Illinois (+29)
Maine (+14)
Maryland (+13)
Mass. (+7)
New York (+11)
Rhode Isl. (+15)
Vermont (+34)
New Jersey (+5)
Minnesota (+4)
Colorado (+1)
Iowa (+9)
Nevada (+4)
New Mexico (+7)
Ohio (+1)
Penn. (+4)

Electoral Votes: 276

These numbers all came from the most recent head-to-head (Vs. McCain) match up polls from RCP.

It should be noted that though Obama still wins under this scenerio, there are other states that lean in his direction. He just didn't happen to be ahead in them in the latest polling. One of the benefits of expanding the map.

Here are those states and their latest poll numbers vs. McCain:

Wisconsin (-2)
Michigan (-1)
New Hamp. (-3)
Virginia (-11) (Strangely, he usually is ahead in Virginia, just not this latest poll)

5. Well, it's all we've got for the time being. Hopefully he gets even stronger if he's the nominee.

7. This is great!!
This effectively ends any crap about Obama and the GE.

Clinton's last firefall crumbles! She has no chance of turning the super delegates against the pledged delegates amounts and the chances of her getting the most pledged delegates drops almost every day.

This is over folks! Obama is just about the Presumptive Nominee by any stretch and we need to start thinking about Congressional seats.

I CANT WAIT for the transition week to finish once it starts. We got so much to discuss when it comes to congressional seats!

9. Also because she could win as well. Either candidate has a great chance. But yea, i'm sure it makes
her pretty mad to know he'd probably win.

13. But I thought Michigan
hated Obama? I mean, didn't he single handedly steal every ballot grinch style the night before the election so they couldn't vote? whats this -1 about?
