That's our Wes!
Edited on Thu May-27-04 04:49 PM by DancingBear
On CNN - just laid the Abu Graib problem at Bushes doorstep. Made mention of the White House memo telling * how to "evade" Geneva Convention protocol. Went into some detail re: abuses during his military career -said NOTHING of this sort happened during his command, and he would have reacted in no uncertain terms if it had.

Closed by saying that Bush is leading this nation down the path of colonialism, and that no colonial power can ever succeed.

Strong and to the point, as always. On the attack against Bush, and tying Bush and the prison scandal together!

Meanwhile, John Edwards still has nice hair. :)

(I like Edwards - I really do - but Wes is better. Honest.) :)

3. Well as long as the Republicans
have the keys to the house and senate.....doesn't matter what is laid at Bush's doorstep....he will not accept responsibility and his party will not force him to. It's not about whats best for the country anymore...its all about power with them.

4. He has a way...
of clarifying the point. Why can't we have both? We need a really good Secretary of State....

I want Wesley K. Clark taking that presidential oath after JK has done his eight years!

8. I agree completely
As much as I'd like to see a Kerry/Clark ticket, and I really would, I fear his talents would be wasted as VP. His understanding of world history, international relations, and foreign affairs is surpassed by NO NONE. He'd be a BRILLIANT SecState. IMO.
