Bush asks to meet with Smarty Jones
"Representatives of President George W. Bush have contacted connections of dual classic winner Smarty Jones, hoping that the two could meet if the colt becomes the 12th Triple Crown by winning the Belmont Stakes (G1) on June 5.

Maureen Donnelly, assistant trainer for John Servis at the stable’s Philadelphia Park base, confirmed for the Philadelphia Daily News that the White House has contacted Smarty Jones’s camp, but she said it was unlikely that the colt would travel to Washington, D.C.

"What would he do there?" Donnelly said. "We’ll have to say no to President Bush, but he’s welcome to come here if he wants.""

8. Georgie Overcomes Fear of Horse's????
Georgie to prove to the troops and the Nation that he has overcome his fear of horse's by standing beside Smarty Jones during a photo-op. It should be noted that Smarty Jones is the only one of the two that has actually worked to claim any awards or fame.
