Feel the Hate.
This depresses me. These are some of those 'blue-collar Pennsylvania voters.' This makes me wish McCain would pick Condoleeza so these people's heads would spin!

http://www.observer.com/2008/gonna-fly-now-clinton-runs-rocky-philly

What about Barack Obama? Why couldn’t he beat the Republican nominee?

“The race thing,” interjected her colleague Daniel Kirner, 52, from Tullytown.

“I mean, a president named Barack?” agreed Ms. Vizzini.

clip

“No Muslim is going to be president. No drug addict. If Hillary isn’t the one, everyone I know will vote for John McCain.”

That should tell you something.

20. Just because you can find a statement like the one in the OP does not mean that
all Hillary supporters are bigots or approve of that statement. It's probable that there are Obama supporters who won't vote for a woman, regardless of her qualifications, but I wouldn't accuse all Obama supporters of being sexist because of that. Unfortunately racism and sexism still exist in our society, but you can't truthfully make blanket statements about an entire group based on the opinions of a few.

Its always the ones who say there may be a problem with one's race, that is not voting for someone because of their race.

8. I do feel the hate, from Obama supporters
Do you people EVER say anything positive about anyone other than your candidate? I have never read as much hate coming from a bunch of people as you.

And, when he loses, you will blame everyone else but yourselves.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5359371

Only problem is that this shit is being posted by Clinton supporters and then people are angry and blame the Obama supporters.

The anger in here would go down a bit if the Clinton supporters would simply stop posting negative attacks against Hillary.

19. It's a weird cycle
The more we continue to gripe about the things that piss us off, the more it feeds into the meme.

That being said, the radio station I listen to in the morning has Ed Schultz on followed by Ms. Rhodes. I usually listen to Ed and then start listening to music.

43. Who is it? I have no idea.
Unless it is a few people that I know for certain are supporters of a candidate, I have no idea who supports whom. I don't visit Clinton's or Obama's forums. I read the title of the thread on the front page or the latest page, and I may or may not go in to read it. But, by just reading the thread titles, I can tell that Clinton hate is alive and well at DU, as is Obama love. None of it seems to be logical, and if it was the other way around, I would find it just as illogical. I have come to thoroughly dislike Obama and have had to defend Clinton, who I only like just a little better. It is the clash of the titan egos, as far as I'm concerned. Neither of them is right person to take over the job.

But, I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Whoever gets the Presidency will only be a one term lack luster President. Nothing will change on how DC works, or even how the media is owned, so nothing will change in the life of about 90% of the population of this country.

11. It's everywhere
Here in Wisconsin our Supreme Court just went leaning Right-wing Wacky when the successful incumbent was smeared mercilessly by outside money and a slack jaw anti-Left psycho-borg installed. It didn't help the incumbent was black as I heard some middle-aged lady quip in the voting line "not only that if Obama wins, that's too many of that kind." Bigotry, ignorance, racism. Jesus help us!

39. Being from California it never ceases to amaze me
When I'm sitting in a bar somewhere in Virginia where I live now and I hear the crazy shit that comes out of people's mouth. Just the other night, I had to assure my barstool neighbor that Barrack was not a Muslim and that he was born in the United States. He didn't want to believe me until I pointed out that it would be impossible for him to run for president if he was a foreign national. Surprisingly, the mental giant to my right was a Rush fan.

Le sigh...
