Andrea Mitchell: Creative Editing for Ratings
Andrea Mitchell snips a thoughtful reply down to one sentence, thereby negating the very serious issues of teen pregnancy, contraceptive access and choice.

It's "Al Gore Invented the Internet" all over again, except this time, Ms. Mitchell pushes a button that inflames the passions of us all.

And here we are, arguing over a single sentence.

Congratulations, Ms. Mitchell. You sold a lot of soap today.

4. Maybe?
This is not new for her.

Even though she may only be a shade of her husband's Ayn Rand acolyte evil, that's still pretty bad.

5. Wasn't she the one who was up all night last week digging up MORE Wright quotes--
so that MSNBC could cut away from Obama's economics speech to discuss them? Her agenda is clear.

6. Integrity is a ratings black hole.
Substance is a ratings black hole.

That's why on the MSM it's explosions and outrage 24 hours a day.

11. Corpmedia did the same to 'Voted for it before I voted against it" knowing full well Kerry's full
remarks were about how he voted for an 87 billion dollar funding bill that had all the money accounted for in the bill and then when the OTHER version of the bill came up that HAD NO ACCOUNTABILITY for the money, he voted against it.

Every reporter in DC knows that EVERY senator and congressperson votes FOR or AGAINST one version of a bill before they vote FOR or AGAINST the other version offered.

But truth is not what they were interested in. Dan Rather has been saying that corpmedia NEEDED to protect Bush during that election for the favorable rulings they expected in Bush's second term.

It's up to Dems to stick UP FOR EACH OTHER for a change, instead of letting our nominees hang out there with no party protection.

15. It's insane
And yet, people fall for sound bite gotcha crap again and again.

My father was a newspaper man. Years ago I asked him if reporters were truly objective. He basically said "Hell no." Actually, he specifically said the most reporters were petty, bitter people who resented most of the human race.

I have never ever taken anything written by a reporter at face value. They are not objective. In every story you will find that reporter's bias.

I love the press. More than I should. I still believe that without them, we are lost. Just the same, I know the difference between a legitimate story and the machinations of some hack trying desperately to remain relevant.

Andrea Mitchell is nothing but a ratings troll. She can go to hell.

13. Does andrea mitchell want to get busted for
bad journalism? Is hilary trying to bribe her through buttering up alan greenspan?

"OK, this is pretty dumb. Hillary Clinton wants a high-level commission to analyze ways to resolve the mortgage crisis -- including Alan Greenspan.

Yes, I know people still listen when Greenspan speaks -- and John McCain once joked about taking Greenspan's advice even if he's dead. But for those in the know, AG is a key villain in the whole affair."
