when my dad got a job out of state, we moved with him. I understand that many people have long commutes, including many politicians, I've just never understood how someone could leave their family at home, if they had an option. but then, to me, family is the most important thing in the world. how many nights in the past 12 months has Barack Obama been home to kiss his daughters goodnight? he already has a 40 hour a week job, in another state, for 7 months of the year, and he has since taken on a 100-hour a week job, also out of state (you think running for President isn't a major full time job?) if that's not narcissism, then I don't know what is. And yes, that is a trait shared by all politicians. Obama may even be a better father than the average aspiring chief executive, I have no idea (And I certainly won't believe it on the strength of publicity photos) but let's not pretend that he's up for Father of the Year, ok?

I don't ever remember seeing these kinds of photos with the Clintons (either one or both) and Chelsea. I'm sure there had to be family photos, just don't ever remember seeing the warm-and-fuzzy photos of Mom & Chelsea or of Bill & Chelsea. Are they out there?
