Hillary campaign now begging for attention from reporters and media
Since her campaign is almost broke I guess she is trying to get all the free media she can get. Sorta like Mike Huckabee did.

Hillary camp to reporters: Don't call us; we'll call you!

Remember when Hillary Rodham Clinton was the inevitable nominee for the Democratic Party? She could adopt the strategy of an incumbent candidate and not worry about giving access to reporters.

Well, now that much of the pundit chorus has written off her campaign, Clinton is embracing the media.

From today's Washington Post (Front page! Above the fold!)

The Clinton campaign requested the interview Saturday to talk about how she could win and to emphasize her focus on Michigan and Florida.

Since she cannot overtake Obama in pledged delegates, it makes sense to go straight to the press with campaign talking points. Recently, that's been everything from Obama as VP, popular vote, winning the big states, or the wacky electoral college ploy that Evan Bayh is helping to roll out.

But now we're back to Florida and Michigan. And this could be a successful strategy for Clinton, especially when reporters allow the candidate to talk and talk, without explaining her October 2007 statement about Michigan: "It's clear, this election they're having is not going to count for anything." Good thing she left her name on the ballot!

4. But I've heard Larry King & pretty much all of the MSNBC folks
say that they've begged & pleaded with her to come on their shows and that her campaign won't even return their phone calls.

5. Hillary Campaign ...
Since funds are getting low for the former first lady and Senator of New York, the Campaign is negotiating doing Four, 30 minute stints with OVC and HSN. Displaying "Clintonesque Jewelery", and
"E-Zee Face-lift Cream", allowing her to have media exposure. Between selling products, she will be allowed to talk of her campaign.

By the way, those who order from QVC and HSN during her hours on the air, will receive "Too legit to Quit!" Clinton Campaign buttons, with their orders. For more information please call 1-800-Desparate. Check your local listings.
