Some things can't be said too many times.
Look, if you're a democrat and you care about any of the things that dems have in their platform, you'll vote for the dem candidate. You can't possibly care about choice, civil rights, the fundamental right of Habeas Corpus, ending torture, the lives of our soldiers, the lives of Iraqis, the federal Judiciary, the environment, the poor, the elderly, children, healthcare reform, economic stability and equity and so much more, if you don't vote for the dem nominee, or even worse, vote for McCain.

Perhaps you've convinced yourself that Hillary is nothing but a corporatist neocon. At the very least, she'll appoint reasonable Justices. She supports choice. She has a good environmental record. She'll support ending tax breaks for the wealthy. That should be enough. Same goes for you who think Obama is a stealth repuke, stealth Muslim, stealth black separatist or too inexperienced. He's head and shoulders above McCain in every respect- as is Hillary.

I have nothing but contempt for those who are so small and petulant and self-righteous that they'd sit this one out. It's even more important than 2000.

I can't believe that it hasn't sunk in with some people yet.

4. Yeah, It's such a no brainer
but people let their emotions override good sense. And it's not just the SC- vital as that is.

7. Yes, we all need to remember this
Even I at times feel like I couldn't support the candidate I am not rooting for, then I say...President McCain...and I am a Democratic voter again!

9. You're right.
I am a strong Obama supporter, but I will vote for Hillary in the GE if she wins the popular vote. On the other hand, if she does not win the popular vote but is "selected" by our party elites, I will have a very hard time voting for her. I probably will, just to avert the disasters you mention above, but I'll stop working for the Democratic party and will work with third parties thereafter because I won't feel the Democratic party is democratic anymore. It's just a too hypocritical to call yourself the democratic party if you aren't going to be democratic.
