Big Dog farts in your general direction: Division among Democrats "a bunch of bull"
Hillary And Bill: We Aren't Going Anywhere

March 28, 2008 06:02 PM

In response to recent suggestions from leading Democrats that Hillary should end her campaign, both Clintons struck defiant notes on the trail Friday.

From MSNBC:

Just in case you were wondering what Hillary Clinton's No. 1 fan thinks of recent calls for her to drop out of the race for the Democratic nomination, Bill Clinton has three words for you: "Bunch of Bull."

"All these people tell you, 'Aw, we oughta shut this thing down now; the Democrats are so divided,'" Clinton said at a campaign event here. "That's a bunch of bull."

From New York Times Caucus blog:

To answer questions that have been swirling around her candidacy all day, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton arrived here in northwest Indiana - just a few miles from her Democratic rival's home on Chicago's South Side - to unequivocally say she has no intention of leaving the presidential race.

"There are millions of reasons to continue this race: people in Pennsylvania and Indiana and North Carolina and all of the contests yet to come," Mrs. Clinton said. "This is a very close race and clearly I believe strongly that everyone should have their voices heard and their votes counted and that includes Michigan and Florida."

Then, she added: "There is a lot still to be done and I'm looking forward to campaigning hard over the next several months."

5. The so called division is media driven.
The media told us we are divided, so we believe them. There is not really anything unusual about this primary other than it started earlier in the year before the election. They should be able to duke it out until everyone gets a chance to vote. I think it is nice that it is not really decided yet and there are states with late primaries that will actually have their voices heard for once.

7. Looks like they are waving BYE from where I sit.......
Certainly ain't saying HELLO, cause they've been around for-E-ver!

Plus there are better reasons NOT to continue this race!

The fighting between Dems is being encouraged in part because of McCain's Public Financing problem, which is not a Problem as long as the Dems keep Fighting Each Other......Which may be why Fox, and Scaife, et al are being so nice to Hillary Clinton as of late. Obama is the frontrunner, so it's not gonna work to be nice to him. His lead is big enough, thank you!.....so indeed, they have to try and take him down to the 60% loss level in order to keep the race going beyond April.

Do you know what would happen to McCain if he had to face Obama's fundraising prowess today? It would be a massacre.

So it has been calculated smartly by those who's interest it best serves to delay as long as possible the Dem primaries being decided.....because that's better for John McCain's public financing woes as he can't spend anymore money anyways. If McSame doesn't have to spend anything to incur damage on his opponent, that's better for the Republican party; it makes them stronger, while we spend and spend away at each other.

No wonder Dem in-fighting is being encouraged, and why we have all of these Right Wing commentators being paraded on Television to "comment" on the Democratic Primaries. They are sitting there laughing at us, while we keep having to go to the bank. That's why the Wright controversy is being artificially kept at maximum level, and the speech on Race doesn't count as far as they are concerned. They don't want it to count for anything, and many in the Dem party are playing right along.

Plus the Dem in-fighting appears to be bringing voters over to the GOP side, which is a bi-product that they are welcoming.....and the GOP are waiting with open arms, and know what a difference approx 25% of the AA vote (and after the Richardson Judas remark) maybe 35% of the Hispanic voters.

The media of course loves it for a multitude of reasons (corporate tax rate stay low with a GOP win, as well as a continuation in deregulation so that they can become bigger), one important one being that they are the ones who profit from hard earned Dem money getting into their coffers for advertising big buys that they wouldn't see if things weren't close with Obama and Hilary, and since McCain doesn't have the moula, they'll gladly take Hillary and Obama can fight each other to the death.

We are being hosed, and may have very well been outsmarted or have outsmarted ourselves in many, many ways to date....enough to cost us the election that should have have left the Repugs as road kill. After 8 years of George Bush, we are now working hand in hand with the Republicans in destroying all of our advantages as the Democratic party.

We are truly fucked!

8. I call billshit on BC!
Notably, Clinton described the remaining primaries as contests for the popular vote (not for delegates.) "Now we’re going to have to go all the way through to the end to see who has the most popular votes," he said. "And that’s good."

Learn the rules, Bill! Delegates determine the winner, not the popular vote total! But a smart guy like you already knows that. You're just a billshitter, playing some for fools.
