Anyone who lets DU posters influence their vote shouldn't be voting
Edited on Fri Mar-28-08 04:49 PM by Cali_Democrat
Several Hillary supporters here are saying that they won't vote for Obama because of his supporters. :wtf:

I'm sorry, but he has millions of supporters. If you let some of his supporters influence your vote then you shouldn't be voting. Rip up your ballot, un-register, do whatever you have to do, but please don't vote in the primary or in the fall. Your weak mind is a threat to our democracy.

13. You mean those letting the nasty crap influence them.
You actually can get a good political education from careful reading of DU. There are some wonderful role models here who could (and I presume do) influence opinions.

And I would disagree with you, Obama's campaign is about the movement, and the people in it will be the changes that Obama can bring about. The quality of the people in the movement will define Obama's presidency, if you actually believe him.

16. gosh, now you say that after trashing my canidate for month
say what you will, you BHO supporters have cut off a lot of Hillary's supporters with your demeaning, trashing and crap. I would never vote for someone just because of a web site, but I can see what his supporters thing of Hillary and her supporters. Why would you think, all is forgotten and we will fall in line?

28. Yeah Obama's supporters ....
The difference is Hillary has actually thrown this "demeaning trash and crap" around herself, not her supporters, her. You want to blame the candidate for these imaginary slights his supporters are laying on you, be my guest. I'd rather have shitty supporters and a good candidate than a shitty candidate with good supporters.

I just searched your name on DU and you haven't contributed a single thing to the "debate" except "Obama supporters all suck". Good luck with your pathetic angry pride.. I'll vote for any Dem who wins. Because there is more than your sad little pride at stake.

18. I have been meeting his supporters in real life
here in Illinois since before his Senate primary. Some of them are part of the Democratic Party establishment. Some of them are grassroots Democrats, and some are elected people at various levels. Others are ordinary citizens with an interest in politics. Many of the latter are political neophytes.

Many of them are arrogant people with a sense of entitlement. I think that they have picked up this attitude from Obama himself.

Many of them become angry if anyone questions Obama's record, accomplishments or policy statements. They become even more angry if one does not swear instant fealty. Even basic queries about comparing him to the other contenders, including those who have dropped out, incite fury in his loyalists.

My overall impression of Obama supporters is negative. They have played a part in my decision not to support him. If you don't like that, tough shit.

29. Yea Cali....by all means, chase away Democrats.... After all,
we have such a huuuuuuuge majority in this country.

Why if Obama is the nominee, he'll win in an absolute landslide, ha?

We don't need every single vote we can find.

We don't need the Hillary Clinton supporters.

So yea, excellent idea. Un-register, rip up your ballot!!111!

jesus

31. You think her point is valid that Democrats should rip up
their ballots and unregister?

Why do you Obama supporters think you can win without a unified party?

It's borderline drunken philosophy.

I think all supporters will unify when Obama wins the nomination.

And he will, since Hillary CAN'T win.

However, posters who say they won't for Obama because of other DU posters are either lying and posting fake outrage or are just plain ignorant because Obama supporters here are SUCH a small sampling of the overall Obama supporter group.

Got it.

There won't be a lot of unification with hostile comments like yours and Cali's
