after I posted, I remembered that moment in one of his debates with Gore when he said that the state of Texas would be putting to death the two guys who killed James Byrd... and he flashed this huge, toothy grin that was completely vile and chilling. So he either understands the whole "death" thing and has a completely depraved indifference to it, or he really likes it a lot and has chosen political office because it affords him the chance to end many people's lives.

I guess it basically comes down to whether he's a sociopath or an evil idiot.

6. Back when I could (barely) stomach watching the POS, it was clear by his speech

that he loves it when people die.

When speaking about other issues, he stammered and outdid himself in sounding really stupid and uninvolved.

When the topic shifted to war or something else death-related, he became animated, his speech pattern sped up, and he made fewer gaffes.

I stopped watching anyhting bushit-connected before 2004 and have been able to avoid seeing or hearing him for almost five years. I am only now starting to recover.

He can't contain himself with laughter. Then he makes a couple of funnies about how drunk he used to get in New Orleans.

Really, the most disturbing speech I've seen.
