Obama folks, could we try to limit the number of threads calling for Clinton to drop out?
Seriously, folks, what's the point of posting bihourly calls for Hillary to drop out? She's not going to, at least not before Pennsylvania. Yes, having four more weeks of infighting is bad for the party, but there's nothing we can do about it. It's not like she's going to read your post on this message board and suddenly "see the light" and realize she should drop out. It's one thing to be mad about her tactics, but there's no point in calling for her to drop out of the race, and all that does is piss off her supporters here and create ill will towards Obama.

We need a united party in the fall if we are going to defeat a Republican who has a lot of crossover appeal, and the more we piss off Clinton supporters, the less likely that is to happen. Obama has never called for Clinton to drop out, and I say it's time we follow his lead and take the high road.

If we must post threads calling on Clinton to drop out, could we limit them to, say, 1 a day? Perhaps people could post their arguments for why she should drop out within one of the many existing threads calling for her to drop out, so that half the messages on the front page do not consist of the same thing. At the very least, it would keep this board more interesting by allowing a variety of posts to stay afloat for longer.

This will probably fall on deaf ears, but I really hope Obama supporters here will heed my call and focus on reaching out to Clinton supporters and highlighting why we support Obama instead of why Clinton is a monster and needs to be kicked out of the party.

4. The primary season is almost over,
as far as deciding who will be the nominee goes. We can still use GDP to watch future primary returns, but I see no need to fight in here over who will win the nomination. We need to focus on the general election, Obama v.s McCain.

5. 117,805 registered DUers x daily 3 post limit = 353,415 Hillary drop out threads per day
We're not there yet, but we're getting close.

Just some food for thought to the next seer / sage / pundit who has a burning need to post the next "Hillary drop out it's over I'M SERIES" thread.

8. 6 weeks to NC primary, unless PA goes for Obama...
then maybe sooner, but I'm not even confident she'll go prior to Convention

SD's will only fuel the flame of disunity with a perceived disruption of the democratic process, which ever way they swing it, even FOR Clinton

I don't know about reducing people's calls for Clinton to step down... all the incendiary crap I read here... I don't think it matters much

If I were going to want something stopped, it would be the freeper-esque, incessant race/gender shit pot...

I haven't noticed Obama supporters doing that... plenty of obvious racism... sexism on the part of Obama supporters? negligible

10. Your "concern" is duly noted, and the answer is NO.
She has already lost, she cannot possibly win the nomination. She needs to get off the stage. We've seen enough.

13. I dont care if she stays in, I just wish she would talk positive about...
Obama, like she does the republican, McCain. Just stop the whole kitchen sink bullshit that she said she liked and looked forward to and talk to us about what she has to offer.

14. Exactly
I have never called for her to drop out, but I have called for her to change her tone and be sensitive to how her actions affect Obama's prospects in the GE. I expect the same from Obama.

15. I guess I am biased but I dont think Obamas campaign has been...
that negative? I would love to see a list of the negatives that he has used and a list of the ones the Clintons have used. I know I see allot of "spin" on certain things that people try to say is being negative but I haven't seen too much actual negative campaigning that wasn't a reaction from something the Clinton campaign threw out? I know it works though because I have to argue with my mother because as much as she dislikes Clinton, she thinks Obama is the one being dirty. I keep telling her that the media isn't quite telling her the truth and she should look at more than just their info but she says, I don't care. But she does because she is believing the medias word as fact.:grr:

Hillary is hurting the party with her kitchen sink strategy. Now her fat cat donors are threatening Pelosi and congressional races. I call on Hillary to get out of the way so we can focus on McCain.

If Obama supporters were really that confident, they wouldn't feel the need to be so negative, would they?

21. They are already limited...
to three (3) per user, per day. That's limited, technically. Right? :)
I hereby call for Hillary to drop out of the race!
