2. Fuckin' A
Maybe there is god or maybe fate is not blind evil fuck or maybe the mathematically randomness of the universe has finally turned in our favor.

But its probably because Bush is so fucked up.

3. I'll say it again
The 2004 election will be won/lost in OH, PA, and WV which combined have 46 electoral votes.

Kerry needs a VP that will help him carry these 3.

5. Some poll out this week had Kerry only +1 in CA
Don't buy it. The rest have him in a route there. Doesn't mean be complacent if you are from CA though!

6. This is great news. But let's not get too cocky. That's when you
lose when you become too cocky. Witness, the chimperor.

7. Given the recent news...
...this isn't all that surprising or, I suspect, lasting. There's little elasticity in likely voters' real affiliation. Ask yourself, for example: is there any permutation of circumstances under which you'd back the Chimp for re-election?

I didn't think so.

And it's the same for the right, leaving the casual electorate who are swayed by every pinprick of positive or negative publicity.

The Bushies can still control the message of the election through their actions. For real security for Kerry, he needs to steal the definition of the major issues from the incumbent, like Reagan in 80 or Clinton in 92.

10. They also have Bush leading in Oregon
That was a close state in 2000, but I'm pretty sure Kerry will carry it.

11. in 2000 they said Bush could win California. Horse shit polls.
I don't take much credence in those polls that show CA close.

Which Al Gore voters are going to switch to a bucket of poop?

I'm not from there, but to me it seems highly unlikely.
