WOLF NAILS CLINTON ON RESURRECTING WRIGHT ISSUE
I am burning one post just to show people that the MSM is not blind to the Clintonian tactics of scorched earth policy. Remember the SDs are watching/reading all this. I expect them to start pitching in soon. What do you think?

Blitzer: Clinton resurrects the Wright controversy
Posted: 02:30 PM ET

(CNN) – After staying out of the Barack Obama controversy over his former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Hillary Clinton has now weighed in big time. She was asked about the flap when she met with the editorial board of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review today. “He would not have been my pastor,” she replied. “You know, you don’t choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend.”

A few moments ago, at a news conference, she essentially said the same thing before the microphones and cameras. And as she did earlier in the day, she noted that she had spoken out last year against Don Imus for his racially-charged comments about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team. “I gave a speech at Rutgers University saying that hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that.”

Suddenly, the Rev. Wright uproar has returned to the forefront. The other flap of the day – her embarrassing and erroneous description of her 1996 visit to Bosnia – has been pushed a bit aside. She acknowledges that she made a mistake in describing the scene of her arrival at the Tuzla airbase.

All of this must be seen within the context of this incredibly close race for the Democratic presidential nomination. With four weeks to go to the Pennsylvania primary and the 10 other contests that will follow, every utterance by the two candidates is critical. The scrutiny all around will be intense because the stakes are enormous.

3. I'd pick a stronger word
disgusting comes to mind. So does self-destructive. Devious. Duplicitous. Dirty. Disheartening. I give it a D- overall.

2. All politicians want to change the subject rather than be racked.
The thing that's unfortunate is that she didn't come back with something she wants to sell Pennsylvanians about her experience or plans.

With her own minister warning against attacking Rev Wright she's once again seemingly spitting into the wind.

7. This is the GOTCHA journalism of the MSM and the BO campaign
"Gotcha" journalists like Russert and Blitzer & Co. always seek to CREATE controversies like this.

Blitzer hounded Hillary with questions about Wright unil she finally responded to one. Whereupon, he yells 'stop the presses' and comes out with another CNN 'EXCLUSIVE' that shows what a "bad" person Hillary is.

IOW, Blitzer baited her, laid a trap for her, tried to trick her into saying something he could criticize her for -- just like Steve Kroft did. Then he twisted her reluctant response to make it sound unfairly critical of Obama. Democrats used to detest this kind of lousy, biased opinionated journalism. And most of us still do.

But the Obama campaign has found it as useful as did the right-wing did as a tactic for taking on the Clintons. Sure, it's deceptive, sleazy and disgusting, but it works!

Obama supporters will soon see what this treatment looks like when it is directed at YOUR guy.

And, boy, are you going to howl!
