Can General Discussion-Primaries be hidden?
It's really turned into a Clinton-hate cesspool.

You don't expect to see the threads that are in here. I guess I'll try and stay in GD until after a nominee is chosen.

This isn't a very nice primary season and I'm sure it's just reflected here.

I don't hate Obama by any means, I just like Hillary more.

26. I think she's been a strong supporter of woman, families and children
Hillary's and Obama's positions are nearly identical. I like her past of working with the Children's Defense Fund and her advocacy of SCHIP. I think Obama would make a fine president, but between the two I prefer Hillary.

29. so, I sense the following....
Both have great programs.

You are a woman who wants to see the first woman President.

You fail to understand the hidden past dangers of electing Hillary because you have not a) been exposed to it or b) don't believe it or c) don't care if she is part of the old regime.

Now, if both have good platforms, wouldn't you rather have someone you can trust than someone who is just saying things to get elected? There is so much about Hillary that you do not know. And, if Obama isn't any different in what he can deliver, then why would you not support him just because Hillary is a woman? I was on the "first woman President" side once, too, until I realized that Hillary isn't a good choice for the first. Hopefully, you will come to see that, too.

Not all of them are Democrats, or
actual Obama supporters. There have been a lot of people trying to wreck this site lately.

It will be over when the nominee is decided. I don't know if DU will recover. I guess we will have to wait and see. I miss the old discussions here.

27. you can see it when you click the profile for the person
(the white rolodex icon)

So, yeah, someone being banned is referred to as tombstoning because a certain tombstone icon appears in place of their profile. You'll see people referring to "pizza delivery incoming!" as in the brand of pizza.

I would hate to think of the # of brain cells I've filled with DU Jargon in the last 3 months! But yeah, there are a lot of smart people here and people pick up news from lots of different places I'd never have time to find on my own.

And personally, I can still be a Joe Biden political junkie with others of my kind. The other forums are generally nicer and more informative.

20. I don't think it will be over after the primaries.
By then the disrupters will have 5000 posts and seem even more legitimate. And, instead of supporting Obama (or trashing Hillary) like they do now they will morph into "Clinton supporters" and trash Obama in her name.

10. The point was to get a nominee. Hillary is unsportingly refusing to give up.
Her supporters have resorted to a self-avowed strategy of tearing down Obama.

We are responding in kind, determined to end this thing. Sorry if it gets rough.

We're not fucking around this time 'round.

12. Hmmm, I see just as many threads trashing Obama, and even more,
Obama supporters. It goes both ways. People need to deal with it. I'm so sick of hearing that it's ALL Obama people trashing Hillary. Maybe people's ignore lists are preventing them from seeing the bigger picture, I have no idea, but it's nasty on each end. And, it sucks, royally.

33. Thank you for your normal passive aggressive post as usual
You still sit your butt on the middle of the fence of moral
and philosophical ambivalence without any direction or substance.

What do you think about lying about War?
What do you think about lying to pad your resume?
What do you think about cronyism?
What do you think about the sub prime market and how deregulation from Clinton effected that?
What do you think about Justice?

I guess when someone runs a racist, lying campaign and is a war monger, as is Hillary Clinton, he/she should expect to get hated by those who hold appropriate values.
