A Laugh
My 87 year old mother is in the hospital right now recovering from a knee replacement. There is a sweet 97 year old woman named Agnes in the next bed. I overheard her saying: "Well, I have to stay alive until November, so I can vote against that sonofabitch McCain!"

12. Surgery
She just had the surgery this morning, but she is doing very well so far. Tomorrow they get her up on her feet for the first time. My sister has had both of them done, and they have worked well for her. Mom's doctor does six or seven a week!

13. that's refreshing to hear....what is
the total average recovery time? He is thinking of having it done this year and I want to know which weeks of hurricane season to not have to worry about.....

Give the two ladies in the beds a hello and a hug. And, tell the older one I'm proud of her....

14. *LOL*
God bless and here's to both of them!
~*:toast:*~

My mother who is 85 had both of her knee joints replaced 6 mos apart a couple of years back.

And then last year my brother who is 59 had to have his knees done as the result of an elevator accident.

And I have one that's pretty bad, but I'm waiting until they can get OEM parts before I get mine done. *LOL*
