2. Worst president ever. and no, we were not so divided then.

In some ways this is worse.


Gore lost because Clinton's affair and Impeachment weakened the party enough for a fucked up election in Florida to allow Bush to sneak in.

Then he won again because we nominated someone who voted for the war to run as an anti-war candidate. Swift boating was inevitable at that point.

That and the Religious Right turned out in droves to vote for a Creationist for President.

Oh, and no this wasn't the kind of crap that helped Bush win TWICE. I can never recall the primary rancor ever being this vicious. Of course, we've never had more than one presidential hopeful left by this point in the process in my lifetime. Bush won twice because of a) our pathetic media, b) apathetic electorate and c)election manipulation.

And for what it's worth, he's the worst president ever. Ever!
