While Hitler fills death camps, Kerry criticizes environmental record
Geez, would Kerry say something about what's actually going on? This is probably the worst thing the US has been involved in since the Indian Wars and Kerry is talking about the environment. Iraq is not a "miscalculation"--it is a massacre, bigger than Wounded Knee. He is too weak a candidate for this election. He's like bringing out Xander when we need Buffy--except I like Xander.

1. Kerry is wise
to let Bush drown in his own mess. Meanwhile Kerry expressed his concern about the torture, and is bringing out upbeat campaign ads that define him. Much more presidential than if he joined the fray. One more thing..Shrub's ads don't match what is going on. He was at a rally the other day when the torture papers hit the press and he was telling the rally that Saddam's torture chambers and rape rooms were closed. :bounce: :bounce:

2. I hope you're right
I kind of wish Kerry would come out with something. Staying above the fray is one thing. Refusing to engage in something as major as this is something else.

This is an opportunity for him to differentiate himself from Bush. All I here now is that he and Bush are on the same page. That's not really what I want to hear. I want to know what he will do differently. He needs to be getting his vision out there.

3. Kerry Is Much Wiser Than You May Realize
Right now, I think that the best thing that John Kerry can do is to get back to the day to day business of campaigning.
The media and the repugs would love nothing better right now than to distract Kerry from the campaign and draw him out on the prison torture issue. This way the repugs can accuse him of politicizing the scandal and attack him on that basis.
Right now with congress and the senate conducting their hearings it think it is getting plenty of attention. Kerry has already given his opinion on the issue and has rightfully moved on to the things that will defeat the shrub.

6. You're not helping Kucinich
Just so you know. Slamming Kerry does absolutely nothing for Kucinch except it's beginning to annoy mainstream Democrats and you guys won't get a blessed thing at the convention. So you know.
