http://kucinich.us/convention/dem_hq.phpAsked by Kucinich Convention Coordinator Tim Carpenter, who was hosting the event along with National Campaign Manager Dot Maver, "Will you get us passes?" for the convention in July, Huffman responded, "We'll get you passes, we'll get you work space, we'll make sure you're in a position where you can raise all the hell you can raise."
Kucinich, who is campaigning in Oregon in advance of that state's primary on May 18, spoke to his staff by telephone, telling them he appreciated their commitment. "Our supporters are kind of like the energizer bunny, they keep going and going and going. They don't quit, and they don't give up."
Kucinich said he has avoided any direct criticism of Kerry, the Party's presumptive nominee. "That's not what this is about," he said. "This is about making the party stronger and making it take the positions it needs to take."
Kucinich told his team and members of the news media, "We'll have dozens of delegates inside the convention, but we'll have thousands of people in the streets of Boston. We can put pressure on the party to take the right positions on civil liberties, health care, Iraq and the Patriot Act.
"We're going to be the conscience of the party, and that will help Democrats win" in November
