Dem convention organizers on hand for Kucinich office opening
http://kucinich.us/convention/dem_hq.php
Asked by Kucinich Convention Coordinator Tim Carpenter, who was hosting the event along with National Campaign Manager Dot Maver, "Will you get us passes?" for the convention in July, Huffman responded, "We'll get you passes, we'll get you work space, we'll make sure you're in a position where you can raise all the hell you can raise."

Kucinich, who is campaigning in Oregon in advance of that state's primary on May 18, spoke to his staff by telephone, telling them he appreciated their commitment. "Our supporters are kind of like the energizer bunny, they keep going and going and going. They don't quit, and they don't give up."

Kucinich said he has avoided any direct criticism of Kerry, the Party's presumptive nominee. "That's not what this is about," he said. "This is about making the party stronger and making it take the positions it needs to take."

Kucinich told his team and members of the news media, "We'll have dozens of delegates inside the convention, but we'll have thousands of people in the streets of Boston. We can put pressure on the party to take the right positions on civil liberties, health care, Iraq and the Patriot Act.

"We're going to be the conscience of the party, and that will help Democrats win" in November

1. They won't have very many many votes on the floor
Less than 100, I think. That's a lot less than Jesse Jackson in 1988 or Jerry Brown in 1992. As long as they don't try to tear apart the party, I'm fine with this, but they need to realize that once Kerry is formally nominated it's time to close the office down and support the nominee. Otherwise, why bother having political parties.

3. Answer these three questions:
* When has Dennis said that he would NOT support the party's nominee?

* When has Dennis ever told his supporters to "tear apart the party"?

* When have certain Kucinich disparagers EVER passed up an opportunity to denegrate Kucinich and his supporters?

If you answered "NEVER" to the above three questions, congratulations! You are OFFICIALLY AFRAID OF DENNIS KUCINICH AND HIS SUPPORTERS! For having such a small amout of delegates/supporters, some people are REALLY afraid of him!

If you folks are so afraid of Dennis now, I hate to see how this November is going to be, when you have a maniacal pitbull like BushCo to face.

Dems Roll Out Welcome Mat for Kucinich

Alice Huffman, chairwoman of the Democratic National Convention Committee, accepted an invitation to attend the opening event and had nothing but praise for Kucinich and his uphill battle.

Kucinich said he has avoided any direct criticism of Kerry, the Party's presumptive nominee. "That's not what this is about," he said. "This is about making the party stronger and making it take the positions it needs to take."

2. Kucinich didn't criticize Kerry much before either
even during the months of the campaigning before iowa held their caucuses kucinich didn't really criticize kerry. his attacks were almost always towards bush/cheney and other republicans. and he mostly just talked about what he is for .
