Didn't CNN say that Gallup is Up For Obama?

I didn't see it posted here but I saw the screen.
Believe it was Nora ODonnell that said he recovered nicely from
the Preacher story.

I thought Clinton was one point ahead of him now in the Polls.

Please clarify. Thanks

Obama Weathers Wright Controversy, Retains Slight Lead in Polls

What could have been a crisis for Barack Obama might not be much of a disaster after all. In national polls taken since the beginning of March, Obama enjoys a slight advantage over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, averaging 45.8% to Clinton’s 43.9%, according to data from Real Clear Politics. Although Obama’s lead is narrow, it is statistically significant; there is less than a 10% chance that the difference is due to variation in polling samples, rather than actual differences in public opinion.

Most importantly, these poll results show no significant change in public opinion of Obama over the last two weeks, despite scrutiny of sermons given by his former pastor, Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. Conservatives, pundits, and supporters of Hillary Clinton have roundly denounced Wright’s inflammatory statements, hoping that Obama’s association with the Chicago minister would weaken his candidacy. At least for now, Barack Obama’s campaign seems to have weathered its biggest controversy to date.
